Nargis Fakhri or Esha Gupta should have played this role.WHy on earth did Aish agree to do this 2nd lead role?

It is more believable of them doing the sexy adaab,winking and giving come hither looks to a scruffy looking street singer.

It would not have offended us,that they let a guy touch their thigh suggestively..or them licking icecream suggestively(eww)at a public place.It is their image onscreen.

Not only is the guy not dazzled and completely awestruck by Aish..he doesnt even seem to be that into the stunningly beautiful woman in font of him..he is like chalo chance maarte hain🤡.

Bohut Na insafi hai.Poor Aish😔

Please wait till Diwali..janta will show you what they think of pretentious film.

The role of aish could have been done by another A B C ..such a reputed women plays the role of just going around with men and sleeping .Thats cheap.If there was real love between ayan and saba ...then I would be ok with it.But here it's all about making out all the time.It's plain lust.When there is an emotions of love the scenes look ok but here there is no love.

But what's the reality? There's no skin-show, no smooching, no vulgar gestures.. yes, there is the licking cream off the cheek scene, but it's playful and sensuous. There is indeed lust. But it's tastefully done.

But is this being done for the first time in a big movie? Salman lifting up Jacqueline's skirt with his mouth isn't repulsive but this is? What about the Bahubali scene where Prabhas takes off Tamannah's clothes against her will? SRK openly saying madarch*d in HNY? All these are family films. If this more egregious stuff is not frowned upon as much and are not a deterrent to the movies, how will it be an issue for ADHM?

But on closer observation, why is there such a shock value attached? Is it because of the love scenes or because of the personal life of the actors? "OMG! She has been married for ten years and is a mother of a 5 year old kid, how can she do this! Cringee!"

So is that the real reason? The same people have no problems seeing married men do the same to single women onscreen. But if the tables are turned and if the woman in question is married, and a mother on top of that... blasphemy!!

I am not a feminist from any angle...but I sometimes do see why some are...I mean the hypocrisy is so thick that it can be cut with a knife...a woman cannot do the same things what the men are doing?? why?

Its a ROLE...its called ACTING...women play lesbians, prostitutes , homewreckers...that doesn't turn them into one...its ACTING and its not CHEAP.

That was bold?? Honestly, Indians tend to be so uptight. Watch the movie first and then decide people! Maybe the characters are supposed to have this strong physical attraction and not much of the emotional connection. It's a story and they are portraying characters the filmmaker envisioned.

I wish at times that people will just enjoy a good song and stop analyzing how old are actors, what is their personal life, age, Husbands, family, daddy, mommy , Taaya, Tayi and everything else!!

How I wish we were discussing the beautiful Urdu words and shayri in this song.

We complain about songs like Poo Poo Kendi Poo, but when a song like this comes, we are concentrating on Ash and her boldness !!!

I can talk about my personal taste and I am NOT comfortable with such explicit scenes...Be it Aishwarya or Baahubali or any other such scenes...I don't watch the kind of movies that you have mentioned if I know I am going to be uncomfortable..In Baahubali I don't even remember that scene until you mentioned it because its not highlighted at all and one can easily ignore it or may be look away for a few minutes? But here it seems like the entire Aishwarya's character is all about drawing lust and being intimate with Ranbir which is a little too much for my taste...And the deadpan disinterested expressions on Ayan's face is making it worse for me...
Did you consider the fact that some people could be genuinely not comfortable with such intimacy? That ice-cream licking scene is surely vulgar to my taste- a scene that I expect in some B-grade movie...Just because some people find the intimate scenes a bit too much to their liking, its unfair to call them sexists, haters and what not!

If they are in acting industry then they have to do whatever the director demands (except nudity) as per the requirement of his or her script. it doesn't matter whether the actors or actresses are married or not. Even Emraan Hashmi / Hritik did smooched scenes after their marriage .
even Amitabh kissed few times in his 50s and 60s 🤔

so if man can do it then why can't woman ?😕 scenes carried out in acting are not dependent on affection or true love . so why such negativity on this ?? 😕

@Red

I think we need to acknowledge this as a good thing for me because 40s, married, mom means aunty. Here Ash comes across as a desirable, bold and uninhibited WOMAN. Which honestly slightly shocked me because I would not have expected Ash to do so especially being the Bachchan bahu and under KJO's direction (as he is their family friend). But that is my expectation and it is pleasant surprise.

@Pink
I am one of people who cannot connect with the words because I barely know hindi and have no clue about Urdu. Someone must have translated, I will look for it because people are raving about the lyrics.
