Ok.i get your point but making a high budget film blockbuster doesnt indicate star power...it needs content to make a high budget film a hit.in my own view star power should be judge by opening day or weekend collection cause despite srk star power,fan open with 19cr but made only 85cr

I don't find Varun a good actor as his acting in Dilwale was horrible. I was seriously disappointed by his tone and comic timing and even in Badlapur, he didn't manage to prove his acting ability though I found him the best only in this movie. He can't do well in comic roles and should stop doing such roles.

hahaha, just tell me one thing, why was varun playing 2nd fiddle to john of all people in dishoom? john even got the girl, had more screen time, had better character while varun was playing saif ali khan of main khiladi tu anari and that too in his own brother's movie, shame shame puppy shame 😆

so called star plays 2nd fiddle to john 😭

seems like you watch the wrong film cause varun had more screen time in dishoom than john...And in dishoom,varun wasnt that intersted in jacq

I haven't read the commets but Varun's fan base is consistently increasing. A lot of people around me watched Dishoom despite its not so attractive trailers and songs.

I personally enjoy his attitude on screen. He is good at goofy roles, dance sequences and even serious stuff. He is an entertainer and doesnt bore the audience most of the times.

I am a Sidharth fan but that does not mean I dislike Varun. That is a pretty ridiculous assumption.

In fact, I posted this topic because I personally think Varun is a bigger star than Ranveer and Ranbir, if you go by first day collections. I do think first day collections indicate star power. Yes, there are other things involved, but to consistently give good first day numbers is pretty extraordinary. I don't think anyone else has managed that.
