They gave a reason as to why they say Varun is bigger - he has been having a better time at the BO than Ranbir and has more clean hits than Ranveer. Bigger star - that you can only tell in the long run but for now Varun's doing quite well and I think he has bridged some of the gap that was there between him, Ranbir and Ranveer - as in he's closer to that group rather than Arjun, Sid, Aditya. He'll probably have a flop someday (hopefully not but failure is a part of every journey) and the world will start re-evaluating again 😆 Bigger than Shahid - YEAH. 😆

Yeah he needs to sign better films...and opt for better roles/genres and although he doesnt have a Hirani, SLB, Bhardwaj level director I feel Sriram, Pradeep sarkar & Abhi verman kind of directors are good enough for a 3-4 yr old actor like varun.

Those films wouldn't be made in first place if there was no Ranbir, at least they wouldn't turn out the way they have currently (good or bad), Varun hasn't reached this stage yet

I think ranveer box office pull is overated..i think varun is about to reach ranbir level but hasnt...but someone saying put varun in bv and wont earn more than what ranbir make it earn..is a lies...bv opening is so poor..what can be poorer than 5cr opening and 20cr lifetime...varun has also done niche films like badlapur which was given A rated despite that it made 7cr and 50cr opening and lifetime respectively...what he need is just one big it...if everything goes well i can see badrinath ki dulhania or judwaa2 being that film...for now he is bigger than ranveer and shahid but almost the same level as rk
