Salman is not mostly hated for being a STAR but because of his criminal cases just like Sooraj Pancholi and Shiney Ahuja (if they are considered stars, may not be though). I rest my case here😆

Ok 😆

Plus, he has somewhat successfully rehabilitated his public image. He has built this image of the Entertainer of the Masses.

I don't get it, but maybe this is why.

One thing I don't get though, in his case or SRK/Aamir's case is blind fan worship. I mean, you do realize they're not Gods, right?

Every time you say something about these stars, their fans will descend on you like a swarm of bees and take it so personally, as if they're being paid to defend the celeb's honour. Senseless.

In the name of being a fan, they support their wrongdoings too and at the same time want justice or the right thing to be done in their case. If you're supporting something wrong, then get ready to have the same be done to you.

@Bold Yes, people act like you offended their ancestors and take it too personal. But it is many celebs I see this on.

where was this hatred for salman before 2009? 2002-2009 where was the hatred for his criminal case? i was also one of those members part of the bandwagon here in 2011 hating salman for his case, but tbh never really thought about it before that...

I have a question. Not just for Salman fans but, any other fandom in general. So what do you feel when your fav does something wrong? Do you generally ignore or feel bad and want to back out of your loyalty?

Quote from a song "when the sh*t hits the fan are you still a fan?"
As celebs they are human and have faults of course but, how do you feel personally when they mess up?

good question !!

when other fandom are ignoring the fact that their favs are still friends with criminal salman and are loyal to him... then i dont see any wrong in being a salman fan and loyal to him either !!

in nature iam a very loyal person and stood by a person ,who i like thru his thick and thin !

edit : in general we want our partners/friends to be loyal to us as well !!

Asking me then I hated him since the Chinkara case. After the hit and run case, I wanted him to be in jail asap but it has never happened, nor it will. About others hating him, they have their own reasons but if they hate him for his crime, they are absolutely right while I know many who hate him just for being a superstar today. However, still his crimes are a major reason.

@bold: It was the logic that I was trying to talk about by making the comparison. Hatred for Salman is something people make a joke of or feel blessed that their celeb is famous as he has many haters.

For me, you kill or many, it makes no difference. He doesn't repent for his crime, means that he'll not repent if he does it again.
