And when a movie is Hit like Sultan, you don't reliaze that these views probably didn't contribute to the business. Only BBD and Kala chasma 70 million hits vs real business makes us question YT views

Songs matter, if they add to storyline.
In case of BBD, Nitya used songs+lengthy sequence to convey the same message. It needed trimming. This is her first, hopefully she will learn.
In other movies songs help create buzz. Thats y most BW movies have atleast 1 song to promote it to audience.e.g: Akira,Fan

It is only because of the Kaala chashma and chart buster songs people flocked to the theatres on friday and saturday and then Sid-Kat.

Now that people know songs are the only good thing about the movie they would choose to watch it free on Youtube rather than in the cinema hall.

Not pointing to you specifically. Just saying we all do it. I am sure we will do it again next time a trailer has record views or likes. But I agree...we should stop giving attention to these things. Best to enjoy a film as we used to without bothering for records. Five years ago thats what I used to do and used to enjoy movies a lot more.
