If Sonakshi was really comfortable in her own skin, as per how she used to talk about it and run down those who used to wear Bikinis and all that then why is she suddenly showing off all her selfies and petite figure like some huge achievement?
Does it mean she was a phoney?

Actually, skinny people are more ridiculed then the fat ones...I was way too thin as a kid...and everyone made fun of me...I have a friend who is thin and she too is made fun of...
Fat people are ridiculed...but not to an extent as thin people...my cousin is overweight..(weighs more than a 100 kgs)...he is getting married in Dec...and we do talk about his weight...but apart from that..nothing. One of my friend is overweight too..but no one mocks her..

body shaming of any kind sucks..fat shaming, skinny shaming or any other kind..as somebody who is far from having a perfect figure and thus has moments of low self confidence I completely support people who make a case against fat shaming..but I am against mocking people who are skinny too..why do we throw the skinny ones under the bus by referring to them as 'bag of bones' or anything else to show our support for the healthier ones? that's not cool either...respecting all body types means respecting all body types, right?

IRL, any kind of shaming is bad.
In movies, it's a visual medium and we go to see good looking people . So actresses try to maintain a physique . We expect everything from actors - good physique and good acting.
If I had to watch someone looking like my neighbour Sharma jee or Mrs Sharma, why would I go to movies?

Body shaming = you are fat you suck you must be harder to kidnap, I beat you eat a lot and shit a lot.
Opinion = you are fat. This is a statement and if it is true then it isnt or shouldnt be used as an insult. Personally in my opinion looks and appearences are an important point of a celebrity and it isnt just acting.

I wouldnt expect my pilot or dentist or mechanic to have a certain appearence because their job is to fly the plane, fix a car or heal people. If they are good at it then that is all it matters to me. For a celebrity it isnt just the acting part but much more.

Any kind of bodyshaming - too fat, too skinny, too dark, too pale, too short, too tall anything is wrong and should be ended.
While skinny people and pale people do get their share of body shaming, I think on an average they are more accepted. Overweight people and dark people get the brunt of shaming and criticism in most societies.

When it comes to health it is not body weight and size but fitness that matters. Also while people say being healthy is a choice, being healthy is a matter of privilege. It takes time and money to eat healthy. It takes time and money to stay fit.

A lot of poorer people working multiple jobs end up eating a lot of cheap junk food. They also do not have time to workout nor can they afford fitness equipment. Even a simple activity like running or walking requires expensive shoes. These poor people end up either scrawny and malnourished or obese because of cheap fatty diets and no exercise.

the worst part is if someone is slim but a lil healthier than she should be,she is tagged fat.Its like either u have shilpa shetty figure or u have fat figure😕And anyway why hurt someone, sensitivity is very much required.Kisi insan ko u r fat u r fat bolke what will u get?Except damaging that person's confidence

Why only fat? People also mock if someone is too thin... And fat people do that when they want to feel better... In short, accept your body and be happy...

I think she was alright when she entered. With all the body shaming, she probably felt the pressure!

Let's admit it, it's BW.

Skinny slamming is just as bad some people fail to understand the fact some people can't put on weight no matter how much they eat.
I'm slim and I eat alot but still I get request like "Go eat something" It's annoying and frustrating like how much can someone eat?

I'm just saying skinny slamming is just as bad as fat slamming you get called names like skeletal etc 🤢
