I know he's been around for a long time and a lot of his movies have worked at the box office...but theres still no hype or interest around him? Box Office India lists him at Number-4, on the All-time HIts Actor list...but still...

Nobody cares to read his interviews, see his pictures or want to search him on the net. There is no "hype" there...Its not the same like it is with Hrithik, Akshay, or even The Khans..

So how has he even survived despite having no star power or any public interest? He comes across as boring as well lol...He's a good actor for sure...but since when has that been enough?

it's not like that. his fans go to the cinema hall and dont have time for forums. The hype in india-forums actually mean nothing. How many are we here? 100?😆

For e.g.- Shahid kapoor has a better hype but his fans dont appear at cinema hall😊

He is surely a star.

Singham was his.

The biggest thing is he did Drishyam with no other big actors, it takes courage to take up such roles and he did the character so well. Both talented and a star :)

It is a wrong perception that only fans go to cinema. Most cine goers are not diehard fans. They care more about a quality time in the cinema hall and wom.

AD's Golmaal and Singham series are huge hits! And many non fans enjoyed those movies as well. If only fandom had made any difference, Himmatwala would have been a hit as well.

He's always been a better actor than all the three Khans but his star power is not as much as the Khans who debuted just 1-2 years before him. He and Akshay have almost the same star power but Akshay earns more as he does his own stunts as well.

I m normal person , yeh actor wactor ke liye I dont watch movies , time pass karne ke liye , enjoy karne ke liye bas 😆 . trailer dekha accha laga toh dekh lia . I watched action jackson on first day because I thought ki entertaining hogi 😆

AD and Akki have given consistent hits but never considered A lister for a long time.
Eveyone is over shadowed by SRK in 90s and Salman later.
Saifu shined a bit with Cocktail , but coouldn't survive.
AD is definitely a bankable star. He has fans who go and watch his type of masala movies .
