PC to shift to LA?

If Priyanka Chopra's US TV serial Quantico gets further extensions (the shooting for season 2 is underway) the actress will be staying back in Los Angeles. Says a source, "If all goes well for PC, she will be staying back in LA for the next five years, but it all depends on Quantico 2 and how well it's received. She has also been getting offers for Bollywood movies, but none have been exciting enough for her to take up. She's bought an apartment in LA, so she doesn't have any staying problems too. This will also give Priyanka an opportunity to explore further work in Hollywood as it will save her time flying back-and-forth. Her mother Dr Madhu Chopra will handle PC's production house in India."

Hope DP does not decide to also shift to LA.

Need DP in BW, PC can stay in HW forever 😃

Let me translate/decode it into more simple language

1) There is doubt on Quantico extension - and therefore extension of PC career in US TV scene. It seems there are no other offers in US TV industry

2) None of the bollywood offers are exciting - meaning offers are not for lead actress but as side actor

3) Why move? If you were hot and happening work would come to you...the fact that she is moving shows her desperation to get work which she is not getting

4) Why is she exploring? I thought she was in..she was happening..she was working with stars

5) Yes her mother will handle her production house which translates into house whose production is food i.e. her home in india will be managed by her mom

Priyanka didn't even buy a house in LA. She rented an apartment in NYC and only for the duration of Quantico season 2. She'll be back in India during mid-season break in December (for a week or two) and then after season 2 shooting is complete in March. She plans to do one Bollywood film and one Hollywood film next year.

She's been going back and forth between India and US for years now... get with the program!
