Because he is Canadian and we Indians are OK with foreigners like Akshay teaching us patriotism.

He must be an Indian green card holder...he can do anything in India except vote or become an elected official in the GOI...he can work, buy property , stay in India as long as he wants...and Akki ka dil toh Hindustani hai...jinke paas Indian passports hain...woh India ko loot rahe hain..I am talking about our corrupt netas...atleast Akki is contributing to India via his movies.

no , I dont know the exact reason but the plausible reason might be that he is able to save some more money than being an indian citizen he could . Paisa is important for some people . Also for some reason canada is very important to punjabis ( sorry if I am wrong and hurt someone here) , so being a punjabi he felt closer to canada as well . He feels deeply about india but the above 2 reasons were bit heavier in comparision I guess

Toh he doesn't have Indian citizenship now as India doesn't allow dual citizenship. But why he took Canadian citizenship ?? Aisa kya hua ?? 🤔

reminded of that girl in yamla pagla deewana who wears a tee shirt saying I love Caneda😆sach mein toronto looks like mini punjab at least some areas.airport pe I thought main India aa gayee,so many employees were Indian.

Canadians are living permanently outside of Canada, they are not required to pay Canadian income tax on any income that is made outside of Canada.

@bold ..ofcourse that is one of the main reason behind majority of the decisions and nothing wrong in it .In his case too Paisa >>>>>India and i am fine with it but when he is pushed down as the most patriotic actor then i find it ironical.
