Girls do agree a lot of time to go out with such guys, a close friend made a male friend of hers to be her rakhi brother, knowing that he liked her. That guy however didnt loose hope and kept on messaging her and eventually they dated for 2 years.
So there a lot of reality in stalker type movies.

Movies tou movies, I find TV serials to be even more pathetic.. guy marrying girl forcefully against her wishes and then the girl eventually falls in love with him🤪

I mean, I visited a TV serial forum sometime ago and there were people calling the girl names because she was reluctant to accept her husband, husband who married her without ehr knowledge in the guise of someone else
The definition of romance and love needs to be redefined.. We need more darrs to show how stalking eventually ends up

Way back I watched a serial called 'Pratigya'..I don't remember the exact pretext but the bottomline is an absolute gunda type stalker forces the girl into marriage and when she refused to respect that marriage, the response in that shows's forum against that poor girl is cringeworthy and even scary...🤢

These guys just don't have a life...We should introspect & ask ourselves ..Why is Indian Society so impressionable when it comes to cinema?
Some Scandinavian countries show graphic sex in their movies, but we don't hear so many cases of violence against women in those countries!!!

That's why I dislike the crappy climax in an otherwise fine film..Darr..
It should have been Juhi's character who should have shot the stalker!
May have sent a message ...Loud & Clear!!!

Movies and tv shows romanticize everything..adultery, stalking, abusive relationships, even rape and molestation now..and the sad part is that teens and young adults actually fall for it..i see sooo many young girls screwing their lives over a "bad boy" they thought their "love" could "change".. how many people continue being in abusive relationships coz that is what "love" means..stalking seems to be a demonstration of love and affection..slitting wrists and attempting self harm a way to emphasize how much u love someone.. trust me, the society is at an all time low at the moment..

So true...A recent TV show I watch has the worst sort of people where they support a man who attempts rape on his wife and who's a murderer too in the hope that he can be redeemed and the reason stated is they have amazing chemistry 🤢. Such low class thoughts exist and hence the creatives also make such promoting physical abuse and marital rapes to entertain the viewers.

I don't even know why this term "Hasse to Phassi" is promoted. Men think that if a girl laughs at their sickening jokes by mistake, she is interested in them. Then the stalking starts.

Hasee toh Phasee, Hasina Maan jayegi, such awful tropes, and some vulgar film songs encourage roadside goons, stalkers, molesters to harass girls on the streets.

Films from the 80s onwards adopted this stalkerish "romance" style with hero stalking, harassing, even trying to molest the heroine and eventually they would show the heroine succumbing to the hero's indecent approach.

In Lawaris, Amitabh wants to teach the rich and snooty Zeenat a lesson for bringing her dog to a restaurant so he feeds the poor puppy some hot green chillis and the dog is running around the restaurant yapping and howling in pain, all this is supposed to be comedy, the hero is supposed to be a smart "human being" and eventually Zeenat falls in love with this obnoxious guy.
In another movie Desh Premee, AB was dressed like a mawali singing Khatoon ki khidmat mein salaam apun ka and chasing, stalking, harassing Hema Malini in a sabzi bazaar.

It seems from 80s onwards, Hindi films forgot the meaning of romance, decency, chivalry and tenderness in man woman relationships.

Serials are even worse, 80% Indian serials are so regressive, so sickening, they seem to be written by hardcore misogynists. The female lead has to go through all kinds of tortures, humiliations, is treated like a piece of shit by the male lead, but still falls in love with him.

I was on Ek Haseena Thi forum 2 yrs ago and some girls there were supporting the rapist villain because he was so "hot" 🤢 That villain and his friends had gang raped the heroine's sister and heroine was fighting to get justice after changing her identity...those forum girls wanted the heroine to actually marry the rapist because they had "good chemistry" 😲
The attitude of some people shocks and disgusts me, and most of these are females.

The basic problem in Asian countries is boys have no idea how to approach girls in a decent manner, they only learn how to harass, stalk, pass comments when girls are passing and most of this learning comes from watching such movies where they show the male lead behaving in the same way and getting the girl thru such disgusting behavior.

Our Indian culture never thought anyone to be submissive and bow down to what's wrong around. It has been passed on to us from generations and that too from women in our lives. If women do not stand up for themselves, this will never change. Be it at the cost of increase in divorce rates. I cannot take shit from a man come what may that's why trying to understand men better by reading books like men are from Mars and women are from Venus. This book taught me so much about men in my professional life. I know when to not behave like a typical girl atleast theoretically. Trying to implement in my professional life and have been quite successful. 😆
