Same! Kashi (PC) is the only thing good about it.

I liked it for the experience it was! Yes it did not deserve best film, but surely it did deserve best director! The story was not proper doesn't make SLB's directorial efforts less. When I saw the movie, it was an experience on the big screen, it looked gorgeous and was shot beautifully. He also extracted some very good perfomances with the actors.

Bajirao- Kashi's chemistry was the highlight of the movie for me! PC ranveer did a FABULOUS job, getting their emotions across to the viewer. The story was though not up to the mark cause very few people fell for BM's love story, because the love looked really forced. Maybe it was because of editing since Ranveer Deepika the movie was like 4 hours long so their scenes were cut obviously. Also Deepika has a very flat dialouge delivery so giving her this love struck Aashiqui type character made it look very monotonous! Look at Deepika's scenes with her child in the movie and the fight scenes, that's where she shines! They should've focussed more on that in giving her character that development!

Overall I liked it ignoring the story flaws lol Also I'm a little biased since 2 of my favourite actors were going head to head giving their career best perfomances! 😳 I still won't be able to get over Ranveer PC's flawless Marathi dialouge delivery 😛

Absolutely. i liked only kashi bai. i seriously hated bajirao and mastani. i cannot relate with mastani's love for bajirao.. Kashi is the saving grace

I think that ranveer and priyanka were the best part of the movie.. deepika, not so much..probably coz i don't buy the adultery in name of "true love".. and it was cringeworthy for me when Rao got both his wives pregnant at the same time.. deepika cud not make me empathise with her pain or anguish thru the movie except at the scene when she was trying to save her child or when she said goodbye to her son towards the end.. priyanka probably on the other hand was brilliant throughout..
