I think it's always about hits and flops. Before RL and BM, he was not really well known among the general public (at least from what I've seen in MY reality) and even the industry barely trusted/acknowledged him...to the point that he was kicked out of BV (If I remember correctly)... I personally don't care much for 'flops' and 'average' tags. If people think that he was relevant before because of Kill Dill and Gunday then that's laughable. It's RL and BM that have catapulted him into the 'star' status. And yes, the credit goes to his talent and hardwork but one can't deny that during RL shooting and a few months after that he was mainly in the news because of his association with DP. Off course things have changed now after BM. But I still don't consider him as a 'superstar.'
