I think it's always about hits and flops. Before RL and BM, he was not really well known among the general public (at least from what I've seen in MY reality) and even the industry barely trusted/acknowledged him...to the point that he was kicked out of BV (If I remember correctly)... I personally don't care much for 'flops' and 'average' tags. If people think that he was relevant before because of Kill Dill and Gunday then that's laughable. It's RL and BM that have catapulted him into the 'star' status. And yes, the credit goes to his talent and hardwork but one can't deny that during RL shooting and a few months after that he was mainly in the news because of his association with DP. Off course things have changed now after BM. But I still don't consider him as a 'superstar.'

Off course. Nothing should stop you from liking someone. I'm simply talking about his box office effect, not how well he is likes by his fan base. True fans will always like their favorite and support them and nothing wrong with that. But it won't just be Adi he too will be feeling from its effects as a actor when it comes to box office numbers and awards.

I would say he has three successful films BBB, RL and BM. The rest of his films are average grossers: Gunday, LVRB, DDD, etc

Lootera is an exception because the content was strong and he was appreciated for his performance too. His true and blue flop is ofcourse KD, but again nobody can save a bad film!

But yeah, Befikre will be his biggest stardom test, lets see how that goes. He hasnt even done 10 films yet so lets wait and see.

I dont know if Deepika can be credited because most people hated her in BM 😆
