I found him an amazing actor.

i always say content matters nothing else.no so-called couple,no great actors/actress.and second is your luck.though people start shipping couple too.and watch sth with more interest.

A GF cannot make anyone an A lister.. Yes.. DP did play a role in keeping him relevant but at the end, it was his talent which shone and gave him the position that he is at today

it is what you are capable of bringing to the table..how excited the producers/directors are in working with a star.

The potential is what makes the future..not the past hits.

Yeah and Befikre can settle this once and for all as this will be his only film without Deepika. Even after Raam Leela his other movie flopped so it would be interesting to see. Off course he would want to stretch it out and work with her for as long as he could but soon public will get bored of their pairing together and then things will be interesting.

I think it's always about hits and flops. Before RL and BM, he was not really well known among the general public (at least from what I've seen in MY reality) and even the industry barely trusted/acknowledged him...to the point that he was kicked out of BV (If I remember correctly)... I personally don't care much for 'flops' and 'average' tags. If people think that he was relevant before because of Kill Dill and Gunday then that's laughable. It's RL and BM that have catapulted him into the 'star' status. And yes, the credit goes to his talent and hardwork but one can't deny that during RL shooting and a few months after that he was mainly in the news because of his association with DP. Off course things have changed now after BM. But I still don't consider him as a 'superstar.'

Yes. He is at position but my question is can or will be last without her? Without Deepika and global queen Priyankas item songs or side roles will the public still come to watch him? He had lead roles in Gunday and Kill Dill.

none of the younger gen of actors r superstars, its takes years and years of doing films to reach that position, only the khans, akshay and hrithik hav that tag at the moment

Ahh no no.

He was so damn good in his debut movie itself! :) .. Ranveer is very talented. Infact, he's more talented(acting wise) than Deepika in my eyes.

its also about content, i agree there is something called star power but ultimately it is the content of the film that makes it either a hit or flop, take Fan for example, its starred a superstar like srk but it didn't make the money that people expected it to, or take ranbir for example who came from a blockbuster hit like yjhd to a disaster like besahram

so if befikre flops that will be because of the content of the film, but that doesn't mean ranveer will be any less relevent or popular, if its a gud film then it will be a hit

You are only as good as your co-star is absolutely true for every actor.

RS has worked with best so far.he should continue to pick good actors..Alia,kangana,Anu,Sonakshi..my current fav Taapsi..

And he should work with good directors.Even if the film fails..it will be remembered as a quality product.

P.S.Vaani is a good actor..they didnt take her for her lookd..
