Q. Can Mohenjo Daro and Rustom take a 30 or 35 crore day between then like a Sultan as together they will take up more screens?

A. Its not a holiday and both films do not look like 20 crore nett openers if released solo which will adjust down to around 15 crore nett in a clash which is what they need to get to 30 crore nett. It will probably be around 25 crore nett between then and possibly even less. One thing is sure the numbers will be pretty close with probably not more than 20-25% in it whichever way it goes.

Nusrat Saeed

Q. Do you give either Mohenja Daro or Rustom a chance to do 150 crore nett if fantastic word of mouth?

A. Tough as word of mouth not likely to be equally strong across the country. Also Hritik Roshan has one film over 150 crore and that was solo Diwali release and Akshay Kumar has none so 150 is probably asking too much with clash.

BOI is complete sh**.. they are completely anti HR.. HR has 2 films in 150 cr +.. these idiots had written off agneepath calling it a flop on day 2.. lets pls not bring them in this thread..

also see the negativity they try to project... both Q&A and the article... so much of negativity

BOI is enough to stir off my mood, whatever piece they write is always discouraging. I am sure two films can co-exist, BOI wants to make HR-Akki fight for their lives kya ?

How can they project wom?? this is complete sh**... when sallu movie releases the tone is like can it touch 40 cr and all and when hr movie releases, it won't touch 30 cr combined... there negative approach is so evident

Exactly.
If it is a Khan movie they make it feel like it sure will reach 500crores but when it comes to others only demotivate.

Both movies can co exist and hope they will. Don't want bitterness or bad clash this time.

Of course they can co-exist. bhajrangi bhaijaan and bahubali both did more than 100 cr even though they released just a week apart. If content is good nobody can stop a movie from doing well. One might open slower than the other but it will catch up eventually.

even though the wom is the biggest factor for the final result but with film like MD and clash you also need bigger opening so i hope MD will lead from the first day

Hrithik Roshan's 'Mohenjo Daro': Top 5 reasons to watch Ashutosh Gowariker's action-drama

Mohenjo Daro action poster

Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro" is all set to hit the screens on this Friday. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie "Mohenjo Daro" is one of the most awaited flicks of this year and it certainly has a lot of reasons for the fans to be excited about.

"Mohenjo Daro" is a film that is based on the Indus Valley civilisation. Hrithik plays the character of a rugged man, who has a strong connection with the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro, and sets out to fight against an evil ruler to free the city from his clutches.

Kabir Bedi plays the main antagonist and Pooja Hegde will be seen as Hrithik's love interest in the film. The trailer of "Mohenjo Daro" had received mixed response from the audience. While some appreciated the trailer, some others criticised the makers of the film for allegedly wrongly representing the ancient culture.

Nevertheless, a lot of money is at stake in the big movie and trade experts have been suggesting that "Mohenjo Daro" will have a grand opening at the box office. Fans of Hrithik are eagerly waiting to see their favourite star on the big screen. While critics are yet to come up with reviews of "Mohenjo Daro," here are top 5 reasons to watch the Hrithik-starrer:

1) Hrithik was last seen in the movie "Bang Bang" in Oct. 2, 2014. Hence, the superstar will be seen on the big screen after almost two years. Hrithik has invested a lot of time and effort on "Mohenjo Daro" and it should be a delight to watch the actor in action again.

2) "Mohenjo Daro" is touted to be one of the most expensive Bollywood movies till date. The makers of the film had incorporated massive sets and a lot has been spent on its special effects. One would not want to miss such a big film with a historical background.

3) The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial will bring the fresh pairing of Hrithik and Pooja. The duo's chemistry in the film's trailer and songs seemed to be very beautiful. They also have locked lips in the film that has been a talking point in the industry.

4) After the epic "Jodhaa Akbar" (2008), this is the second time that Hrithik and Ashutosh have collaborated for a period film. The director is known for his brilliance in directing historical movies and "Mohenjo Daro" appears to be one of his finest works.

5) The trailer of "Mohenjo Daro" suggested that the makers of the film have incorporated some high quality VFX and action sequences. Especially, the scene in which Hrithik was attached by a crocodile and the flood scene received much attention in the trailer of the film. Also, Hrithik's action sequences in the trailer seemed impressive and quite different from what Bollywood has been offering till date.
