There is nothing wrong in being loving and devoted towards one's mom or parents in general. It becomes problematic when you fail to have a spine and rely on your mom/parents to make your life decisions. At some point in their life a human being has to become a self sufficient human being who has their own identity. Loving and caring for your parents does not mean they dictate your life, especially love life.

Keeping RK neeru aside, personally I respect men who respect their mothers. If a man can't be his mother's, don't be a fool to think he can respect any other girl.

And wives should never really try to snatch husbands away from MILs coz mother is mother. Nobody and nothing can replace her. It is unfair to a man if he's expected to totally ignore his mom after marriage.
That said, a mother also has to give her kids freedom and space after a certain age. The understanding has to come from both sides.

Maybe they find being that independent & secretive boy rather than being mama's boys more cool 🤔

Nothing wrong with being Mama's boy ...i would love mine to be one ( apart from being responsible and independent too ) when he grows up 😳

There is nothing wrong being Mama,s boy.bt one should also give imp to his wife .there are many cases in which Mama first except her boy,s choice and then after marriage make her life hell and succeed in separating them.😈

The irony is when a girl seeks her parental advice post marriage her parents ate tagged as interfering but when a boy does the same he is an adorable mamas boy 😛 😃
Toe nail cutting, making grown up child eat,washing underwear,changing clothes in front of parents or viceversa etc etc etc doesnt seem cool after a certain age..
In my opinion parents should steer clear from.relationship problem from both side..shadi kiya hain ya relationship me hain itna na responsibility and maturity honi chaiye ki problems handle kar sake..
