acting is acting lol. we all do acting more than 70% of our life(most of us). trying to be something which we are not is called acting.

now what is bad, good or decent acting are very different things.
also how good, bad or decent acting is all depends on your preferences at the end of the day. if you like a person even his/her mediocre acting seems like great, while if you don't like person, even if he acts great you will be like "thik hi tha, itna khaas nahi tha". It is the ultimate truth, likhay le lo.

IMO Acting is playing another character. Good acting is when they make you forget the actor or actress and they become the character. Brilliant acting is when they make you feel like no one else can play that character better! For example, when I watch Barfi or Bajirao Mastani I don't see Priyanka Chopra, I see Jhilmil and Kashi and I truly believe no one can play it better. That's really good acting for me. At the end of the day it's subjective... Everyone connects to performances differently.

According to me acting is when you get voice modulation with face expressions according to the emotion you are feeling correctly. This is my definition which in BW majority fail to do that.

They can give expression but modulating their voice is a big fail. Also very few actors can become the characters they play. When an actor convinces you of the emotions they are displaying and you connect with them that's what acting is and for that expressions & voice modulation is important.

I don't know,whoever actor actresses I like I love watching them and neither do I get movies of people like irfan khan.the only thing I don't understand is why does everyone on this forum keeps saying salman can't act.I really like his acting😆

Acting is when an actor convinces u with the char...it's the char u see on screen and not the actor...

True, can't relate with Aamir's acting in some Films and same for Anuskha's ..

Andvoice modulation does like half the job. It's not only about expressions etc..

I just see movies as 2-3 hours of entertainment...relating to those films is not something I look for...watch the film...decide whether it was worth your money and that's it
The whole dissection on acting...like dialogue delivery,diction,body language and what not...itna technically film dekhne ke liye neither I am that free nor am I getting paid
Yep...but even within those three hours some of the celebs do manage to make me appreciate their talent...and there are very few like RK,SRK,VB,PC,Konkana Sen Sharma
Katrina films before 2010 were fun...that is why I used to watch them...n now I am a fan...that's another thing now shez doing something different
