She wants to challenge herself..push the limit.

When was the last time a heroine in a title role was given the biggest budget and best release date😲.

Whatever the fate of the film may be-she gets paid,gets presented the best way possible by an ace director..these are people who are going to take that challenge, invest hugely with their time,manpower and money.

That is huge.

I hope to see new actresses coming in.This industry desperately needs many more.

What else can she do ,that will be a challenge for her..

yes slb next is title role but film is a hit credit is rs slb and film becomes a flop credit is Dp only. She should sign siram's next, she still in talks with him about the script but if she signed siram's, it might be her Piku for next year

^^At this stage in her career she deserves nothing less than a big budget ,event film for an xmas release.

Padukone is too ambitious and too smart, don't need to worry about her career yet. She is the most talked about female celeb even without a release this year. Her XXX glimpses and the mammoth interest in Padmavati and her future releases have ensured that she isn't far from the audiences' mind. Jan mein XXX release hogi and then Dec Padmavati. The buzz and curiosity for both the releases is immense so I doubt it can be called a gamble.

U know. I feel she has something in her mind there is no way someone as ambitious as her taking a long break and is letting 2016 empty in her filmography. And to be very frank, she is quite a brand and household name herself in this male dominated industry it is hard to achieve the level of stardom she has achieved inspite of not so great acting skills in comparison. Alot of people instantly recognise her as Deepika and not like for example Anushka who in my household more known as the RNBDJ girl than the Anushka Sharma. Whereas Deepika is known as Deepika. All this just based on my family reactions. Deepika and Katrina are the only two names my family members recognise by name, among this gen actresses. So yeah. She did have a good career and if she isnt continuing here then its a sheer waste of all those PR stuff and her hardwork.
