good...karma at play...

but then i read some other comments, and what Khilji did with Kafur was inhumane...anyone wouldve wanted revenge and those were the times or brutal law at play, survival of the fittest.

dont know how true this is, but i have heard the winning soldiers would molest even the dead body of the women from loosing sides, hence Jauhar and not any other form of suicide which would leave their corpse behind 🤢

Isn't it said that it is Padmavati who started the custom of jauhar? I remember reading something about it
Also from what I have heard, Ratan Singh was a compassionate guy and a brave warrior with strong ideals.. I also remember reading that he was married for like 14 times but I don't know how true that is😆

cited from wiki :

'Rani Padmini (or Padmavati) is a legendary queen mentioned in Padmavat, an epic poem written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540 CE.[1] According to the poem, her mother called her Pammishe was the wife of King Ratansen of Chittor.[2] and the daughter of the contemporary Sinhala king[citation needed]. Rani Padmini was renowned across Indian land for her divine beauty.[citation needed]

There are many historical evidence that Rani Padmini actually existed.[3] 'Padmavat is the first written reference to Rani Padmini, occurring approximately 240 years after the events described in it.'

Ahhh.. Okay but then if every queen did Jauhar on losing the battle, why is Padmavati special?

Yup he did 😆 Now I wonder how SLB is going to appoint 14 other queens to play second fiddle to DP. They all come into a play at the end when they jump into the Jauhar.
