Lol what? I think pregnancy hormones are activating the old fiery Bebo. 😆 It's a good message to give but don't shout & indulge in some cheesy pasta with Saifooo.

LOL Bebola 😆 I frankly agree though. She probably isn't going to take a several-year long maternity leave as people may have assumed, so she must be pissed having to hear again and again that her career is going to end because of her kid

They are speculating that she will take a break from "working". Pregnant women work. There are many women who work right until pregnancy and return right after it. The assumption that a pregnant woman is too fragile, too weak to work and needs to rest is an archaic old school thought. Such assumptions can negatively affect women's careers.

The corpse analogy is because a corpse is the only thing incapable of doing any work. She is saying she is pregnant and not dead to stop working.

WOAH! I kinda get the message, but she's coming across as way too strong about it, and defensive. She makes exaggerated statements when she's defensive. Based on a pattern, I know she made similar statements right after her marriage as well, nothing's changed, what's the big deal, "it's not a crime to get married!" which isn't what anyone is implying. But it's what she wants to shout out.

Taking a maternity leaves doesnt mean you're a corpse. All women are different, and all women have very different pregnancies. Some can work throughout, but some may need to take some time off at various points for their health. Some have careers that permit them to keep working, others have careers have more intense physical demands, hence, they need to take some time off.

Some take time off AFTER the baby, to be able to take care or it. Others may have alternate arrangements of someone who can help with the baby so they can pursue work.

In her case, it doesnt apply coz she doesnt have a regular 9-5 job. She takes up projects whenever she feels like it. That's how an actor's career works. So the whole "maternity leave" doesnt apply coz how has anything changed from the last few years? She's only done 1 film a year anyway. So there's that...

This. This is the trigger. There's usually a trigger to her exaggerated W*F statements these days. Because when she's calm and collected she actually gives very decent and insightful answers.
