Padmavati cast pledges full support

The unit of Padmavati is all set to return to shoot, this time hopefully without obstacles.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati which has been under attacks from vandals first in Rajasthan and then Maharashtra, has received much support from his three dedicated actors and producers, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

Sources close to the development reveal that Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor, who play the principal parts in Padmavati, have promised to stay committed to the project until it is fully complete.

"They have all put all their other movie commitments on hold indefinitely. They've also made it very clear that they won't start another film until Padmavati is complete," says the source.

With the Maharashtra government assuring the unit round-the-clock security, the unit of Padmavati is all set to return to shoot, this time hopefully without obstacles.

video of ranveer at the carerra event, he speaks about Padmavati, he is very excited about the way the film is shaping up and excited about his role as Khilji, he said ' khilji is a bad guy, your gonna love to hate him' :)

he said there is still alot of filming left to do

he also said the team r being strong and moving forward with positivity wen asked about the attacks on the padmavati set

Contrary to reports, there has been no budget increase for team Padmavati post the success of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

We know that the much hyped movie Baahubali 2 is creating waves at the box office. The magnum opus is seeing a tremendous response all over the world and the makers have enough reason to jump with joy. News had it that this inspired the Padmavati team to up their budget and aim for a grander scale for their ambitious project.

That's right, a leading daily reported that after taking inspiration from S S Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, team Padmavati has decided to increase the budget from Rs 160 cr to Rs 200 Cr. However, a source close to team Padmavati has rubbished this news.

When contacted, the source mentioned, "This information is not true at all. Firstly, the budget is not even Rs 160 cr and then, there have been no plans to increase the budget after the success of Baahubali 2. This is totally wrong information."

Well, what do you think of that?

Padmavati is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. It is scheduled for release on 17 November.

The team has been busy with the shoot of their movie, which is much awaited. Recently, the team cancelled the shoot for a day, to mourn over the death of the late Vinod Khanna. Apparently, Vinod Khanna's son Sakshi is a regular at SLB's office and is also vying to be launched by the genious filmmaker.

Aditi said yesterday she has still alot of work left to do for padmavati, she is going to be back on sets soon, she also said its a privilege for her to work with slb
