And yes... Befikre if it tanks...he will be trolled coz despite everything...he has not given a hit outside Bhansali camp n DP as his costar

Without a shadow of doubt Ranbir in Rajneeti. I was watching the film a week back on TV and I have to admit he played such an unexpected character and I am honestly a bit surprised why there was or is no hype for this portrayal. It had grey shades but he portrayed it so delicately giving him right edge, selfish, shrewdness, restraint without making him a complete black character. he kept it real without making Samar too evil. 👍🏼

TBH I like Rajneeti the movie. Its a multistarrer but a very engaging film. I loved the mind games and the Mahabharata link. It was the last decent film by Prakash Jha. Dil Dhadakne Do on the other hand was a completely pretentious film. No character had a strong development. Superficial to the core. I could not feel for any single character except Shefali's. Everyone was just trying to be cool only to be chasing a horrid climax.

If u would have asked RK or RS in general i would have said RS 😳 But wrt to the movies i would go for ranbir in rajneeti over rs in ddd!

Ranbir in Rajneeti, that was one of his best performances, he had many layers to that character and brought them out very well.

Whoa, this comparison is quite... interesting.

It's actually pretty difficult to make a choice for the reason that the niche of both films is different. While DDD was a light-hearted family adventure, Rajneeti was a full-on political drama.

That being said, Ranveer was seen in very free-style acting avatar because of course, that's what the character of Kabir required of him. Kabir was a happy-go-lucky dude. On the other hand, Ranbir's character of Samar was a very serious one, probably brutal as well. There were only a handful of scenes which had been on the lighter tone.

Seeing these things, a generic viewer would definitely pick Ranbir's acting over Ranveer's since his was a more bold character. Idk if y'all are comprehending my view, but yeah, it's something like that.

All in all, I am not making a choice here, I'll leave it to the majority to see who was better (as of now the ball is in Ranbir's court - assuming because of what I mentioned above)
