In the IV, Anushka takes her own time to answer the question. She probably dint want to answer it at all but gave her opinion in a very smart manner. She did agree that it was an insensitive remark, also mentioned that no one she ever use words like rape so casually. N when Anupama asked if Anushka felt the need to ask Salman to apologise, she said she's not close enough to talk to him on such things which I think is a fair enough answer.

But I still don't understand why she said 'what' in TKSS! It was unnecessary though I'm sure she was in no way making fun of the word. Prolly she just wanted to make fun of salman's stupidity!

Well I think she is not actually close to Salman. Their interviews together speak volumes. She's pretty formal with him relative to Sonam who's all over him all the time. But I donno why she tried to act funny in Kapil's show. Looked ridiculous.

The lingering question is what did Salman do to her to set her off like this so suddeny? It has to be something really serious for such quick turn of event. Probably he was intimidating and berating her on the sets and she kept taking it on, but after how public criticised her for her doormat role, her inappropriate laughing so she decided now is the time to cut her loses and break free before the sinking ship of Salman takes her down as well.
