After the three Khans, if anyone had the potential to replace them it was Hrithik Roshan.

He looked good, had great body and acted well too. He has won several filmfares.

However it seems he has underachieved. His movies are not showing up in box office charts. Sure he is not doing bad but not at that level which he deserved.

When and where did he go wrong? To me he was the real deal unlike vivek oberoi hype. I was his fan also among the new stars. But I am not liking his movies. Jooda and now Mohenjo. They do not appeal to me. His movies are not box office greats.

Sure one can argue about quality also i.e. he is doing quality movies but still in this field numbers are most important and I dont think he has too many box office greats.

What went wrong?

1- He came out as elitist. Common man could not relate to his looks and he looked less desi and more westerner

2- His dad mismanaged him

3- He is not interested in career or to become top star.

4- Bad choice of movie i.e. less focus on mass movies

5- He never had in him

He is not interested in BO game because if if he cre then no way after dhoom and krrish he will choose JA

he is just enjoy his status and work and he is the biggest after the khan in the term of BO and popularity and this is not bad at all 😉

After his first movie, he had 2 flops and that's when he struggled to get a hit. Then Koi Mil Gaya succeeded and he has been doing pretty well since then. His last 4 movies have succeeded but the three Khans surpassed him as he may have not been getting good opportunities like they had got or may be he is too choosy.

Dont know the reason actually, I had a huge crush on him during KNPH and Fiza days but couldnt actually relate to his choice of movies nor to his persona. His personality was too stiffed and he bored the hell out of me in KWK/interviews as well. He was trying to be goody too shoes and as far as I am concerned I could relate to more flawed personalities rather than sati savitri types who could do no wrong.. His fiasco with Kangana was also a reflection. Its ok to date to go out with single women... He needs to relax a little bit...

He is losing his looks and his stylist sucks.

Other than that, the divorce and the Kangy controversy shook him hard. Oh his long absence in between films does not help either. He has got a very tedious persona so that's a minus too.

I use to be crazy fan during KNPH days. But somehow I lost interest in him after that. As pointed I believe his "trying to be good" makes him less real and he comes across as someone who is trying very hard to be perfect but fails. Moreover t he has quite a closed personality.

Ditto about his personality. He is so rigid and one dimensional off screen. He loses his head the moment he senses his made up "family man" image is about to degenrate. His twitter reactions are a true refelction of his mind. He's so busy perfecting himself that his persona seems very unrelieved. The narcissim is pretty darn off putting.
