I think there's much more to him than what we know of...why else would a 40+ year old man go around with a life coach by his side? there's a huge chance he's messed up on the inside..his biggest supporter and fan, in the form of his wife, left him...I don't know why he wants to show the world that he's spending time with his kids...he never did it before...so why the desperation now?

He was going good but for a while he was out of public eye and then he came back with kangana controversy which became an overdose over the time

Following his career closely I do not think it has anything to do with family etc.

It is a mix bag of his personality where he does not seem to be the type who have extreme ambitions and he is sort of laid back. He never really wanted it.

His dad mismanaged him and did not give him good advice I think and his selection of movies should have been more mass oriented.

Also he comes out as westerner and less desi like srk salman.

Overall from new lot of 2000s he was the one who could have achieved same level. But he did not.

Having said that I still think he is # 4 after the three Khans. Akshay is # 5 in my opinion.

I don understand the hatred for boring personalities. Does that mean they are not human beings? If being flawed is perfection then why is Salman considered a criminal? I seriously don understand this fixture. If being hyper kid like Ranveer isnt a bad thing, then so is being a boring person like HR. Nothing is right or wrong with regards to how one person is in real life. They are just different individuals!

OT : HR should stop acting with the same actresses again. I feel his divorce and legal issue took a toll on him, otherwise to me he seems to be fine.

I forgot to mention that HR has been injured so many times in his life during the shooting of films...that also had an impact on his career...

Am I missing something about Hrithik ? I wrote essays about the whole Kangy thing so I could not have possibly missed that. 🤔. Mohenjodaro looks underwhelming but it cannot be entirely Hrithik's fault even if it completely fails. So he is divorced but it's not like all the BW marriages that are intact are happy. As far as I can see he is the only guy among those who debuted around his time who is still having a solo hero status.

His physique is nice, he can still dance his pants off, still is the heir to two BW family fortunes plus must have earned a pretty penny himself, has two really cute kids and still has his looks. So why the hand wringing about what happened ? This is the second thread about it. Completely confused on what I am missing.

ETA: I don't think his career is too shabby either.

I think he was doing good till 'kites' happened. Tried to be too ambitious and hoped to be an international star with firangi heroine and even got an accent during that period. He could not achieve any international recognition And even lost touch with desi audience. His looks are so common for firangs that he would have never stood out. Also being too choosy was a risk.

I don't know why he keeps his hair blonde?

He's been runner up or 2nd/3rd after the Khans for the last 16 years.

He's still Top 5, even when he takes a year off.

Even the guys that came years after him haven't been able to reach his stardom: Shahid, Ranbir, Ranveer, Farhan etc etc

Too many Hrithik threads lately 😆 any discussion is good as long as people are discussing him.

Hrithik came with a bang, had a terrible phase in between, and then rose from the ashes with KMG. Since then he has done really well. Only actor after Khans to have successive hits. He has done well in all genres except comedy. Has got looks (subjective), brilliant dancer, great physique a complete package onscreen. Offscreen I don't care much about any actor as long as they don't commit any crime. I may not like an actor's personality but that won't stop me from watching his films.

Rekhaji,

Ranbir is not even a decade since he debuted and though it seems like Ranveer has been around forever 😆 his is even less, BBB is 2010 just short of 6 years. They are not Hrithik's contemporaries.

But you are right about Shahid and Farhaan, not to mention Abhishek and I think the many who have disappeared like Akshay Khanna, Rahul Khanna, Fardeen. Hrithik is the only one with the solo career so I don't get how he failed.
