So what do you'll think?? Would Raees have been able to survive the Sultan tsunami? Could it have benefitted due to the long weekend and double holiday release that Sultan got this eid.

By postponing Raees did SRK make a mistake as it gave Sultan a free run and complete dominance over the screens and a free pass to create box office records??

On the other hand come Jan Kaabil seems like tough competition tho . It's a Roshan Home production so you know it will make 5,000 crore In first week 😆 😆 how will srk beat that 😉

Business wise it's a good move cuz I don't think Shah or anyone can counter attack Salman's BO pull right now. But as a fan, I'm disappointed that Raees is shifted to next year. 6 months more to wait :(

Good move, it would have been crushed had it released now, more so because it would have been coming so close to Fan. Even slight bit of negativity would have meant worse performance than Fan.The escalation of negative word of mouth would be too fast.

While the negativity factor still holds for Jan 26 release the competition factor would be easier with Hrithik. Now if Hrithik too delivers a turkey with Mohenjodaro, then both would be on equal footing.

I think Raees would still given a decent if not great fight. And it would have definitely generated more hype if it had released during this Eid.

Now it is releasing in January and I dont think many people care about it other than Srk fans... And I have mentioned this before, January films dont usually do that well. Yes ofcourse this year we had Airlift, but it had Akshay... Khans are on another level..

So yes, despite everythinig I think they should have released Raees this eid.
