IKR..I hate doing my laundry..Mopping and sweeping is the worst though..That is one thing i just do not have the patience to do 😆

Na I think I have read that too somewhere... maybe it was in her "I love washing dishes" IV 😆
I have no problem with DP, she is a good actress but its only when she gives out such unbelievable statements and her IV's with RK that she tends to be annoying. 😆 She tries a little too hard at times to portray herself as "Normal".

Exactly. Nowadays even middle class families hire help to do their chores atleast once a month because no one has the patience anymore to do it aur yeh top actress of India has so much time on her hands to her laundry and dishes to the point she loves it 😆
I would have believed her had she said she loved cooking or something 😆

She has no need to this also, but she did bcoz she likes homely chores like cooking and arranging things (B4 u ask, no I don't know her personally. I also read it in IV's) and believe her bcoz, even if she doesn't say this or do this, she is anyway going to get movies, fans and also RS.

Yea, her father is pretty famous even before she was born I think and even before he became a badminton player, he came from pretty well to do family.

From BW I do get the homely vibe from DP. Apart from her Vidya Balan.
They are stars for the world but when at home its like a normal day-to-day life for them and their parents get the praise for their down to earth nature.

Actually i get that homely vibe from dp all the time. One look at her family pics n it's clear.
Plus her lack of random PICS on and also shows she may not be the type to flaunt her rich life on social media

I do get the homely vibe from her too but I really don't believe that she does her own laundry or dishes even now. She may not flaunt her rich life but she has lived a rich life even as a kid, her dad was and still is a pretty famous player so I'm pretty sure they had help around the house especially back then when household help was pretty cheap.

I'm sure she might have had to do laundry or dishes back then however having to sleep on hall/floor when guests come seems a bit of a stretch considering her father lived in Denmark before and then came here, so I'm pretty sure he could afford a huge house unless of course she means that a group of 10 or so people came to her house.

P.S: Love your siggy! 😳 GOT Finale was awesome and your siggy is so apt for it!

I sort of can understand when DP says she washed the utensils and stuff cuz even we did the same growing up and it was not due to lack of finances or such but just principles. Our elders had this (misguided) notion that getting the "pampered"kids to do the house work will keep them grounded and adjusted to reality. It was also a precautionary move.- sort of like times change and better to be well adjusted to flow with the change..

As for sleeping on the floors... for me at least, that happened when plethora of cousins and nephews/nieces would land during hols and we the younger lots would choose to spend it together and the big hall was the "IT"Place... it was kind of domesticated indoor camping -- Those were golden days 😊

@Rinnie it would depend though on how your family brings you up.
My fufu's family is super rich as the husband is a high ranked government officer and have maids. But the kids are treated normally and have to do their own chores. When we visit their family we are given the priority and they have to adjust to what we like.
So even with riches its how the family used that money. Yes they never had financially difficulty and were never short of money but still had a normal life. We never know.

But normal people & life for DP is people fetting, fawning & tripping over them selves just to receive 1smile of hers, travelling in the best cars, meeting the creme DA la creme of society with all the luxury present everywhere in every shape & way & form Bla Bla bla. So actually doing your own chores is something alien to her outside of her house. Duno, she's 1 huge star I can actually believe doing all this, I don't believe it even Ash, MD say it etc but DP, I can believe. She seems much more normal in this respect than other BW stars.

I don't think I can believe any top star saying they would so such things 😆 Because their schedule is far too hectic and when they do get the time, I doubt it would be to do household chores. The reason I can't believe DP is because she was born in a upper class household, I doubt there was necessity for her to do the chores especially since, I remember reading an IV of hers, where she had said she was trained in athletics from childhood and followed a daily routine. I don't see where she had time to do chores but maybe her parents made their kids do the chores to learn such things.

However I'll never be able to believe she still does her housework by herself at this point in her life 😆

I agree. I know certain parents make their kids do the work even if they have help around to do it for them. Thus I won't say she has never done her dishes or laundry in her entire life but believing that she still does it and LOVES it is something else entirely 😆 Because majority will still find doing these chores a tiresome task to do after a hard day's work.
