I am an SRK fan though that has nothing to do with why I am deeply offended and disgusted by his statement and I find it absolutely disgusting that even in this issue, people can think of fanwars and who is a fan of who.. In fact I am impressed by few Salman fans who have called him out on this statement.. Who is a fan of who is completely irrelevant in this situation

I am the kind that does not bother about personal life which includes things like affairs and the stupid things they say. If not I would not enjoy the work of the most talented.

People like Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, Michael Jackson, Charlie Chaplin, Johnny Depp (who has used the word rape in context of being violated for a photoshoot), Kristen Stewart (her non-Twilight work is phenomenal and she also used rape in the context of being violated), Leo. It includes people like Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Freddy Mercury, Bob Marley and in BW Raj Kapoor, Kamal Hassan, Amitabh Bachchan and so many more. Many of these people have been accused of horrific things.

I do not justify what they do, I just choose to look the other way and look at their art. Some people may find it disturbing but IME the douchier the person, the better their art. That is so bizzare to me. But it is what it is. I like who I like for their art that moves me be it music or movies. It is what it is and I don't justify their actions or my taste.

But at the end of the day, this is not going to make anything change in the world where women face real issues. Its all TRP for channels and traffic increase for websites like IF.

The guy I've loved since childhood is actually a total idiot. I have reached that point where I don't want to like him anymore. I cried a lot then decided that I won't be his fan anymore. I had reached that point before too but didn't stop being his fan but now he has crossed all limits.

I will still say that Salman fandom is the nicest fandom of this site though, much much much better than a certain other superstar's fans!

Barring AB, Pallavi and me, there are no SRK fans on Salman topics.. It is mostly the neutrals... As far as no change goes, true but that does not mean you do not talk about things.. IF is heavily stalked by Bolly sites.. Kia pata kisi ko sharam ajaye

When you think about it it isn't just about a woman's issue I think men should be equally concerned because even a man can be raped. I hope Salman Khan would understand that it is very insensitive. Many men also get brutally raped in prisons. Out of all you would hope he would understand since he has been to prison. If he wasn't a celebrity or somebody with a vip status he would soon understand what it means to be raped.
