Success gone to Rani's head?

Actress Rani Mukherjee has apologised to the media for the scuffle that broke out in Varanasi between her bodyguards and journalists on Monday. The incident tool place while Rani was shooting in the holy city for her film Chudiyan under the banner of Yashraj productions. A day after, along with the apology, Rani sought a similar reaction from the media if they were at fault. "On behalf of my production, I am apologising to the media if some misbehaviour has happened with the press. We will also want the press ot apologise because if they have misbehaved then they should not be reluctant to say sorry," Rani said. All her responses to media questions were heavily laced with sarcasm and made with a haughty and disdainful demeanor, leaving one wondering what she was trying to achieve through the press conference. When a reporter interjected with a question just as Rain finished answering the previous one, in what appeared to be a premeditated response Rani flared, "Zara tameez se. Ek jane se baat kar rahe hain hum. (Behave yourself. I am speaking with someone already.)." Then, realizing that she had actually finished answering the previous question, she continued, "Bataiye, kya aap ki kathinayee hai? (Tell me, what is your problem?)" Thinking his misery is over the reporter asked Mukerjee about the story of the film. Mukerjee shot back, "Yeh nahin bata sakte. Bahut vaahiyaat sawaal hai. (I cannot tell. It is a very irresponsible question!)" Another reporter suggested that she give a brief outline but Rani flatly refused, "We cannot give". It is customary for film makers to explain the settings of the story on such occasions and Rani could have easily obliged. However, she had an agenda of her own. "Just be happy that we have come and are shooting here," she said instead. "The film fraternity and the press have a close bond. The point is that we should be subtle and good to each other," she added. On Monday, the scuffle broke out when some journalists tried to get close to the crew members, including Rani and actress Konkana Sen Sharma, who were shooting on the banks of the River Ganga. Media persons allege that the security of the crew members roughed them up. "The things should be like, we go out of here after our shoot and give you our interviews and photo shoots and that's it. What is the point fighting and quarreling over it? The fact is that we both are not male actors, we are delicate females, so if people will create havoc, we would surely not like it," Rani said. Pradeep Sarkar-directed Chudiyan also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

When she won the award for the best supporting actress for Yuva @ Filmfare,She instead of thanking Mani Ratnam said that I wish I had won it for Veer Zaara,it being Yash Uncle's movie🤢....Which O Which person ,who even has a trifle bit of sense and professionalism would say THAT?.....

Lets not forget,it was Mani Ratmnam who gave Rani-Abhi pair a new lease of life....Their pair became popular only after Yuva,and Rani found a good co-star in ABhishek...Lets not forget,this currently overhyped and overrated pair were a FLOP in their first outing Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai.....Abhishek owes everything to Mani Ratnam,but he is so grateful👏...Gratitude is something which only genuinely good people at heart can offer!

But, the at music launch of Baabul, I think it was, was televised and I thought she was a bit blunt and rude to the interviewer from the media... thought she may just be tired or something... ths doesn't look god, I've always liked Rani and thought she was different... 😕 Guess not hmmm?

yeah, she was being cranky at the music release, but that may cos of mood swings.😉 i mean not everyone of these actresses are 'professional' enough to smile & be polite 24/7.😆 i can live with rani's crankiness. lols!😆😆

This makes no difference to Rani fans like it doesnt make a difference to any other fan of any other actor/actress when in controversies. 😃

I dont think she tries to act all nice in front of the media cuz if she did, then she would'nt have said all that in front of the media. The way she is in real life, is the way she is in front of the media.

i like her alot and she is not the only one who told the media to not get into her personal life . other actors do that too.

She could be the biggest jerk in real life, I couldn't care less😆😆 I'm not going to waste time hating on her because I don't even know her. Why people care about how these stars are in real life is beyond me😆

I love her as an actress because I think she's the best that we've got. She's the only actress who can make me cry. She can be rude to the press (and that's probably why they make up these fake articles😆) but every actress is rude some day or other. Biased articles will never affect my view of her at all😃

though its not a rumour,coz I have seen this interview,but still who cares?Rani is really very good actress and also very good person.I really like her,so iss news se koyi farak nahi parti,I will alwayz support Rani Mukherjee.its happened,so nothing to worry for that,they r also human beings.
