KSG gets repackaged - Page 19

Whatever the repackaging I sincerely hope Bipasha does not attempt to make herself a part of his screen presence. I have seen them together in Alone , had looked forward to his long awaited BW debut and all was fine with Karan and the film except the pairing of the leads. They might gel off screen ...that is their personal choice but on screen the repackaging is urgently required ..he needs to be seen with younger leads...no Alia, Katrina maybe as they all have loyalty to camps but even a newcomer would be better than KSG & Bips on screen.again. On television he has shown he is capable of creating an irresistible jodi with rank newcomers...this is verified by the many 'jodi fan groups' who constantly war with each other on social media.

I for one would pitch for him to take the same route on the big screen.

Yes he will find it extremely hard because as you said he is " not part of any BIG camp " They definitely look after their own and go full throttle to promote their fledglings. He can be considered to be a part of the Bhatt camp as BP who directed him in Alone is quite impressed with him and there are rumbles of another movie together ...and BP I think has affiliations with the Bhatt camp.

But that itself is not good enough to take him places.He needs a nice frothy romance and it does not matter which camp makes it ...it can be an outsider too. If he does not get picked by anyone it makes sense if Bips takes that under control and their PH ( which was announced) produces a good film with him as solo lead .

That will be the acid test ...will he sink or will he float ...or soar ?

His followers from television will no doubt hoot for him BUT the final call will be whether he is able to draw the larger crowd into the theatres . I see no reason why he should not as he did manage to do that on the small screen.There were many who watched DMG primarily for him ...when he was out ( for disciplinary reasons it is rumoured ) the PH tried every measure to sustain the show but eventually took the bold decision to call for his return to get the fans back.The same was the case with QH ! Though the show spluttered on most of the original audience walked away with him.The hue and cry to reinstate him is television history.

So he does have the charisma !

What ruins it for him is the constant blah blah about his personal life. I fear that some of it is orchestrated to get him noticed but think it has gone too far and needs to be reined in now if he is to make any headway in the right direction.Even Salman referring to it at his marriage was not such a good sign as it came across as a kind of ridicule.Since it was SK saying it everyone laughed it off including KSG himself...but the snigger from the big Bhai of BW is not a good signal as these guys control the 'debuts" ...Suraj Pancholi has made maximum mileage with such support even though his personal life is in turmoil ! When the HS3 team was @ the BB House SK had made another snide remark about his " experience "

Therefore this constant bickering on BW forum must stop as not only is it boringly hackneyed but hardly serving any cause. If Jennifer herself has gracefully exited from the relationship where is the reason for others to keep on & on with the bashing. We should take the cue from her ...and I have no doubt she will do as she says as they were friends for long before they married. Many couples remain friends after separation ...at least as a public posture.

So KSG may gain with the repackaging if his personal life gets delinked from his professional by his fans and Bips does not package herself with him on screen.

But will that happen ?

I too feel his personal life has been discussed/bashed/criticized to extreme .and he stands to gain if the focus can shift to his work now. As celebrities they will always be in the glare of the spotlights but the personal needs to remain behind curtains after a point so that the professional gets highlighted.To that end f am not sure how much the continuous overexposure of the wedding and the events after that is helping.Even in tinsel town less can say more as we have seen in the case of several cinema stalwarts who allow their work to speak for them. KSG always claimed to be a recluse ...earlier Jennifer did the talking and now the role seems to be taken over by Bips.There are hints that even his twitter ac is monitored by her. Maybe that requires to be repackaged as well.

however she attracted the right eye balls with it and the movies worked which took her to other camps like YRF with dhoom and BAH..

KSG would be stupid to think he will get dharma or YRF already and i am sure he isn't..he needs another big hit from bhatts etc and then he may find his standing stronger for big PHs to consider him

@cougarTown - you are probably right about this. Maybe Alone 2 as already hinted but with a rider ..a fresh new lead opposite him. For me KSG & Bips just does not work on screen !

You need certain kind of loyalty or professionalism to reach even where Sushant is today.

This guy is epitome of unprofessional attitude. He is famous for his tantrum and unprofessional behavior. Little success and he will report on set late and drunk. He has record of giving tough time to his last 2 shows team. Just little achievement and he will think he deserves all awards, and he doesnt get, he will bad mouth those who win the award.

Lets not forget his every new success comes with new angel. Bips is getting old and she is no aishwarya rai or kareena kapoor who has immense online popularity. According to his darkness rule a lady who is no more in demand shouldnt stay in his life .

If anyone wants this marriage to work for bips, lets say he should remain where he is today or go back to TV and bips should go up in her career. No this is not wishing bad for someone. I dont have problem even if totally untalented sobti or gurmeet reach the new height because they wont start dumping their wives, but this man is totally pathetic. He simply can't digest the success. He got online popularity and dumped his first wife, got his first film and dumped his second wife, he will get one filmfare and might dump third wife.
