You seem to be pretty taken in by his acting in DMG which btw was too unrefined for my taste.. He was brilliant only as Asad Ahmed Khan. But that has to do a lot with grooming and most importantly the writing that wend behind shaping the character. Any half decent actor could have made that character memorable.

There are many TV actors who are far better than KSG like Rajeev K for example who are struggling to make it big and we know what it takes to get that big break and sustain in a cutthroat environment like BW. 😃 If you're so gung-ho about indigenous talent taking precedence, let the TV actors who are far more talented than KSG be given the opportunity to shine in BW.

I certainly do not ' look down ' on imported talent and agree that art transcends boundaries. I am also an avid Fawad fan and have loved his interpretation of Rahul's role in Kapoor & Sons ! In fact I have not appreciated another performance in recent times as much ...may be because I identified with Ratna Pathak's plight as I too have a son with the same preferences. In FK I saw my son in every scene ..I just loved the guy and wanted to hug him warmly there and then !! So my mentioning him was not because I reject him but because I am convinced KSG has the same potential . In his AAK act itself ..the one you mention as his best ..he showed that he was capable of a sensitive portrayal ..loved the Ammi-Asad relationship as well as Tamatar & Aayan. no one ..however upset they may be with his personal decisions can deny this. So I would not brush him under the carpet just yet ..not wish him to disappear from the big screen. All I am saying is that I would like him to get an equal chance.

The one factor that he has going against him is his inability to match the rest in his dance steps .ala Shahid/ Ranveer/ Varun and now Tiger. But I am not sure FK can do that either.

About FK's presence in BW and the immense backing he gets from the big guns ..it has a lot more to do with economics of trade rather than just his superior talent ..which in itself is undoubted. Anil Kapoor / KJo picked well to import one of the most popular household names on Pakistan tv as a ploy to market their films in neighbouring land. I have absolutely no issues with

that...after all I do spend a lot of time watching his performances on Pak TV as ITV provides

zilch in the garb of entertainment.mostly. Therefore when a show like DMG comes across ...unfettered by the hackneyed domestic drama I appreciate it. See nothing wrong with that ..I specially identified with Dr Shashank and his brood of interns as I too have been a teacher . KSG's Armaan act was for me very entertaining as were the other interns.

Appreciating KSG as an actor does not diminish other talent . As I have said before RK stands above the rest and deserves better openings in BW.

Who am I to abolish anything in a domain like BW ??? That would be highly presumptuous of me ...but I agree nepotism should be shunned in every sphere not just in BW as we can see what dynasty culture has reduced our nation to in the current political scenario.

Discussions on a public domain need not necessarily have to be acrimonious and attract aggressive rejoinders. We can differ in our preferences but yet express our differences amicably.

I have no issues with those who enjoy the repartee the way it pans out on most KSG threads as I can see many come here to enjoy the fun ...but I too want to express myself in my way so I do just that. I am not here to join the bashing fun !

Each to his own ..apan ki choice ka mamla hai ! I hope Bips packages well and is a good Godmother to KSG ! What do I care what their personal equations are.

If project 'KSG gets repackaged ' works I will be delighted as he is a very good actor and I would rush to watch him on screen instead of all the other young pretenders who have sneaked in by virtue of their BW pedigree. And who better than Bips to show him the way ..she herself came in alone without any sugar daddies and made a success career ..she knows the ropes.

Good luck to them, esp KSG ...and to the viewers looking for some good acting on screen. Our KSG can do well the roles being dished out to Fawad Khan for sure eg in Kapoor & Sons. anything but those bhooth eroticas please...we have had enough of those.

Honestly, I think KSG was a pretty good actor and reasonably good looking, but he totally ruined his career potential with his offscreen persona. Seriously. Failed marriages and the cheater tag have never really benefitted anyone. If only he stayed quiet about his personal life instead of making a hoopla, then he could've gone further I think.

I think most Indian TV actors, that includes JW are far better than Mahira Khan. That's subjective.😃
