More than Padmavati, it's going to be difficult for him to find actors for Rattan Singh and Sultan, also an actress to play Rattan's first wife but I think the first wife won't get much focus in this story

Ah I had forgotten that fact. I remember there being a lot of problems when there had been a tv drama on Padmavati because the Rajput community didn't like some of the stuff shown. The story is more suited for a 2 hour movie than a tv series IMO.

I guess SLB might just stick to the original story with a few twists here and there, might end up making Padmavati a warrior queen 😆 but I doubt that might be a problem for the Rajputs.

The first wife has a role in the first portions, she is jealous as her husbands becomes mesmerized by Padmini's beauty descriptions from her bird, and tries to stop him from going to her.Later she has no part but SLB might show her as in interesting angle like Kahibai.Alauddin's fav wife was also very jealous of padmini and tried to stop him from going to her too,and said he would neevr be able to get her, in return Alauddin had said if he succeeds to bring Padmini here, the fav wife will have to serve as her maid.🤢I've read all these in Rajkahini by Abanindranath Thakur, a collection of rajput folktales and stories.

Stupid SLB is doing historicals again and again to ruin the historical accuracy. I am sure he will put a pinga song again. Doesn't he get bored doing the same type of films again and again? He needs to do HDDCS type film again.

There is already a film based on Padmavati. Anjaam where Madhuri played the role Padmavati (Shivani) and SRK as Khilji (Vijay).

I like Deepika & Aish but I honestly want to see some other actress getting this role. Aish & DP already did many period films already, I don't want Ranveer or HR as male lead either.

I want other actresses/actors to get opportunities too instead of same old faces.

How about Ranbir & Sonam? Ranbir is a very good actor put aside his offscreen personality and the bad phase he's going through and Sonam proved herself as an actress in Neerja that she can act she just need better roles. Ranbir & Sonam looked great together in Saawariya there pairing is still fresh and deserves to be repeated one more time atleast.
