Rani, duh.. this coming from someone who abhors her. What does Kajol have to boast of if you omit SRK-KJo from her filmography.. I thought resorting the old excuse, 'she coulda if she wanted to' was Kareena fans' prerogative. 😆

Rani for sure.

No amounts of 'oh Kajol could have done the role if she was given the chance' can make up for the fact that she's never done such roles. Coulda woulda shoulda Kajol

Well, Rani wins the poll and Rani is of course the Better actress compared to Kajol.

Why?

Because of the variety of roles done by her and she has proved time and again that she can make films work without a hero, and do outstanding roles in her movies. BLACK, MARDAANI, Laaga Chunri mein Daag, No One Killed Jessica, Mehndi, Hey Ram etc are her films which proved her acting abilities.

Also, her jodi with most of her heroes were really adorable on their chemistry. HUM TUM with Saif, CCC with Salman, B&B with Abhishek, KANK &KKHH, CC with SRK, Talaash & MPTR, & GHULAM with AAMIR, always worked!

Moreover, Kajol never proved that she alone can make any of her films a hit. Why because she never performed those variety of roles nor was out of her comfort level and such excuses like she could have done or can do, Never work until its done. Also, I feel Kajol is highly overrated in terms of her chemistry with SRK. As much as I liked SRK-Kajol in KKKG, I did not like even a 20% of them in Dilwale. I'm not her hater, its just that the charm which she had in KKKG was not seen in Dilwale with SRK. And, yeah KKKG is all time favourite movie. I liked Rani-SRK-Kajol in that movie alongside Kareena-Hrithik.

Win this poll or not, but Rani has proved her capabilities again and again.

Rani all day, everyday. It breaks my heart that post 2005, her career began to decline and everyone decided to write her off. Her peak was so short-lived, it still shocks and saddens me till this date. She has displayed so much versatility + variation in her characters and has shone in even the crappiest of films.

Her looks are also very underrated. She may not have been the fittest actress but my gosh she was such a beauty! Her hazel/green eyes were just so stunning and her smile, magical.
