Rio Olympics controversy: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan supports Salman Khan

Salman Khan has received support from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lending her support to the his appointment as goodwill ambassador of Rio Olympics.

Salman Khan has received support from unlikely quarters with none other than ex girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lending her support to the Dabangg star's recent appointment as goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent at Rio Olympics.

When asked for her take about the controversy surrounding Salman Khan and his appointment as the goodwill ambassador, Aishwarya Rai said,

"Anybody who is doing good to represent the country and anybody who is working or seeking or standing out for whatever vocation we have in the country be it sports, arts or music, I think that's wonderful and needs to be recognised." Well, we are sure this Salman would be happy seeing Aishwarya come out in support of him.

Maybe she means mixed martial arts should be a sport too. Previous training not required as long as you practice it on ex girlfriends as punching dummies.
