Its rude to call him foolish for dat. He can't always do patriotic movies. An actor has to do all kinds of roles in all kinds of movies. Akkie has much more worse movies than Houseful.

For one Airlift type of movie even if he does 3 housful's types its ok.

As long as he is giving atleast 1-2 quality movie every year doing 1-2 masala movies is fine.

Also AK is not 1 movie per year kind of actor so you can't accept all 3-4 movies he does in one year to be of same kind.

Its good that he is trying all genres . This keeps audience interested in him and he is not in number game or Box office game so why shouldn't he do all types.

Akki is smartest of them all !!!

He gives sensible and Mass movies each year !!! So he keeps BO happy and that helps him in doing Airlift types of movies !! He will last very long in BW. Probably more than Khans...
