How many people here know about the Great Gama Pahelwan? This guy was a legend who was never defeated in any of his fights not just in India but even abroad and went on to win the Big John Belt. Not only this but other wrestlers from his family, bholu, akram, zafar etc were also acclaimed and so were Dara Singh. Point is NO I think the wrestlers did just fine and they don't need to be bailed out by some Bollywood actor who is playing a rent a cop aka fake wrestler.
Regardless of how you feel about Salman you can not deny that his past history is going to be there with him for his life and his demons will follow him to his grave. He would be known as Salman the actor, but he would also be recalled for the other not so proud things he has done. However for people like Yogeshwar the world will remember him for bringing glory and pride and gold to India.
As they say these wreslers can take pride and say "Humko mita sake, zamaane mein dum nahi. Hum se zamaana hain, Zamaane se hum nahin". 👏
