BI I finally understood what he meant when he said it is dedicated to his fans. His taking up of the dual role was not vain but in a way empathetic IMO because when playing Gaurav he lived the life of a fan, his own fans in a way and has probably developed a deeper understanding of them the way Aryan Khanna did at the end of the movie. Those thinking that this is an insult to SRK fans devotion of him are mistaken because SRK did not just want to give that core message to his fans at the end about being more than just a fan but also to display his empathy for them.

This film is all set to be SRK's first official flop since 2005. I am a proud fan of this flop film because this film has delivered what blockbusters don't. And I am sure the haters on this forum would have loved exactly the same film if it had their star. Thank you all for the support shown to this film.
One last thing. Dont hate the haters. They complete us. Just like joker completes the batman.

Fan Puts Up A Big Worldwide Number

Fan has put up a strong number Worldwide with GROSS collections set to be around 113-114 crore. This is easily the highest figure of the year beating the 78 crore of Airlift. In terms off all time collections it is the 11th highest ever and fourth highest for an Shahrukh Khan starrer.

More than being the 11th highest, the feat is to be among more commercially viable films. No film of this sort has ever even got close to 100 crore. The film is a little lower than films like Kick and Singham Returns but higer than the likes of Jai Ho and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The highest ever worldwide opening weekend is still Dhoom 3 at 193 crore followed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan at 187 crore..
