Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, who played pivotal roles in Dhoom, have been retained, but this time Hrithik, Aishwarya and Bipasha have also been added to the cast. "Abhishek and Uday are the Mel Gibson and Danny Glover of my film. We have retained all the technicians since they understand my need. The heroines especially have been given the hot, cool, sexy and vibrant looks by our creative designer Anaita Shroff Adjania." According to Sanjay, the chemistry between all the three lead actors produces fireworks in the film. "If Abhishek is a cool police officer, Hrithik personifies the anti-hero. Dhoom 2 is a new generation film. It has everything — a good storyline, pacy screenplay, good looking boys, sensuous girls, techno music and most importantly, a setting that relates with today's audience," reveals Sanjay. Speculations are rife that Sanjay is planning a sequel Dhoom III already. "These are just speculations that I am not even aware of. Dhoom is owned by Aditya Chopra and he can make sequels forever. As for me, I just hope that the film does well this time too," he wraps up.

In fact, the minute Tusshar gets free from his shooting schedule, the first thing that he does is rush to the gym. "If I am not on the sets the unit members know where to find me — at the gym. The ambience in the gymnasium inspires you to work on your body. It is that fabulous," he says. Tusshar plans to visit Cape Town once again only for the gym. "The day I decide to take a break from work, I will pack my bags and come here. I plan to visit this city only for this gym," he adds. Now, that's what we call the true love affair, wotsay Tusshar?

| Call it the filmmakers's day out. Bollywood directors are no longer content calling the shots behind the camera. So, what kicked off with Subhash Ghai is fast spreading its wings. Anurag Kashyap, for one, has signed up Rajkumar Santoshi for his film No Smoking. And Santoshi is playing a pivotal role in the film. He will play a strange and talkative doctor who persuades John Abraham to quit smoking. That's not all. Munnabhai, better known as Sanjay Dutt, is also about to play the character of Sanjay Gupta in Gupta's next film based on his real life incidents. In the past, suave Karan Johar, too, has appeared in Sujoy Ghosh's Home Delivery. Now the talented director is set to do a cameo in Salaam-e-Ishq. | |||

According to media reports, Roshan junior has been signed up for a three-film contract worth Rs 12 crore per project. Retorting at the query, Manmohan Shetty, CEO, Adlabs, outrightly thrashes any such developments in progress. "It's nothing but over-hyped media speculations that snowball rumours into facts. If something has to happen, it will definitely happen and the declaration will be made at the right time," he said, neither confirming nor denying the issue. News is rife that noted director Madhur Bhandarkar has also parked himself with a production house for a trilogy, which includes his yet to be released Traffic Signal. Even filmmaker Vipul Shah has been signed up for eight films at Rs 200 crore and Ram Gopal Varma for 10 films at Rs 100 crores respectively with the Adlabs. Siddharth Roy Kapoor, marketing head and vice president of UTV, reasons, "Nevertheless, if the saleability of a star commands a certain value and the market dynamics justify it, then there's no issue on that," he says. Supporting Hrithik's great business decision, recently King Khan Shah Rukh was quoted saying, "Beyond the price factor, what's wonderful about the deal is that an actor gets the freedom to choose the film he wants to do over a stipulated phase." So, next time if you hear a star's secretary nagging, just think before you call him pricey.

| Films or no films, Neha Dhupia is a busy girl these days with item songs and advertisements. Now the model-turned-actress is set to do an item number in Mahendra Dhariwal's Jimmy And Johny. In the past, the former Miss India did an item song and brief role in Priyadarshan's Garam Masala. For the uninitiated, Jimmy And Johny stars Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu and Kim Sharma. Earlier titled Nehle Pe Dehle, the film has been stuck since the past four years. Meanwhile, the actress is busy with several films — Dus Kahaniyaan, 1:40 Ki Last Local, Delhii Heights and Shoot Out At Lokhandwala. And the actress is, not surprisingly, excited about Shoot... "I am playing Sanjay Dutt's wife. My character is very simple and a complete home bird," says Neha. Then there is Anand Kumar's Delhii Heights. "It's a special film since I have shot mostly in Delhi for it," she adds. On the brandwagon, Neha recently finished doing a American TV commercial for a new line of luxury skincare products. Besides, she also became the brand ambassador for Police, the international eyewear and watch company. ............................................................ ...........
