Aishwarya approached for 'Badshaho'?

Mumbai: If everything goes well, fans will see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan pair up with Ajay Devgn after a span of 12 years. The actress has been approached for the lead role in Milan Luthria's upcoming multi-starrer project Badshaho'.

According to reports, the makers met Aishwarya for a few times and are waiting for a go-ahead. Aishwarya, who is currently gearing up for the release of Sarbjit', was quite impressed with the script and will soon sign the dotted line.

Initially Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra were rumoured to have been approached for the film, but the makers denied the buzz.

Names like Shruti Haasan, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri were brought up for the parallel lead; however Esha Gupta bagged the role. So far, Ajay, Vidyut Jamwal (who replaced Pulkit Samrat) have been signed. The makers plan on making an official announcement as soon as Aishwarya comes on board. The makes of Badshaho' have locked 2017 Republic Day release.

An interesting fact is, Ajay's Shivaay' and Aishwarya's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' are all set to clash on the same day this year.
