Not BW realted but this is soo shocking!

RAIPUR: Depressed over the suicide of 'Balika Vadhu' lead Pratyusha Banerjee, a 26-year-old woman in the suburbs of Raipur killed herself in front of her two-year-old son on Wednesday. Madhu Mahanand's husband Nakul said she had been following news on the case religiously.
Inspector Bhushan Ekka said the police control room had received a call about Madhu's unnatural death on Wednesday evening.
She was very attached to the character played by Pratyusha, Ekka added.
Madhu had locked herself inside a room with her son and hanged herself.
Nakul found out about his wife's death when he returned home from work and forced open the door that was locked from inside. Police initially detained him on suspicion of foul play but let him go after Madhu's parents corroborated her Anandi fixation.
Banerjee had committed suicide on April 1 in Mumbai.

It says her husband said she was in deep depression since her death.

Maybe this all could be an evil plan to give away her murder to this reason?! But the article says that the woman's parents confirmed it 😕

You can never trust anyone nowadays, not even one's own parent. They may have lied just to save face or something.

Whatever may be the case, depression or murder or anything, WHY do that in front of the child? 😡

If the kid was any older this might have caused him to have a permanent trauma for the rest of his life to remember his mom dying in front of him.

The poor child!Had to witness his mother's suicide...what kind of mother does that?You want to leave your child with horrifying images of your death haunting him for the rest of his lives.

I really wish the child won't remember any of it. (most prolly won't) And none of them should ever tell d child later on.

If it was some teenager or youngster i wouldve believed that she committed suicide because of her obsession with the actor but this was a 26 year old woman with a 2 year old son. It sounds fishy to me.

But killing yourself with a 2 year old in the room is just horrible.

One of my very dear and near relative's mom committed suicide when he was barely 3. He has still not recovered from the sense of abandonment and betrayal. He feels nothing but hatred for his mom even as an adult even though she was in all probability suffering from residual post-partum and clinical depression. Its the worse thing possible really and difficult to rationalise and justify cause I have seen his suffering and silent pain all my life.

A parent taking such a step is really heartwrenching.

I am not buying this. I have known many die-hard fans of Pratyusha. There were ones she earlier used to reply through her social networking handles. Ofcourse they n all her fans have been shocked and distressed but this is beyond sanity. The family seems to be making a stupid excuse here.
