Farhan would have been fine and I don't think he turned it down because the character was a homosexual.

As for the others, well I am glad it went to Fawad. I don't think they would brought out the fine nuances the way he did. It is his and Ratna's performances that holds the movie together.

K&S was most sensible portrayal of homosexual characters after My brother Nikhil (which was much ahead of its time). I'm glad Fawad took it up rather than the other actors mentioned here

Strugglinga actor's(which Fawad-Ali-Sid are not) movie was much more loved and made more money than what a Saif movie would do.

Glad Saif did not do it otherwise it would be another big flop movie like Humshakals, Happy Ending or Phantom.

Not judging saif but if saif did thus movie his controversial comments would have taken the movie to some other level 🥱 coz the way phantom suffered it's mostly of his controversial statements.i m not talking about his acting here.

Saif Ali Khan has rejected Dostana and Kapoor + Sons, and most probably every other gay character... The man is just not comfortable with his mardaangi.. after the hilariously believable KHNH kanta ben scenes !!
