IMO Kalki deserved it more but Kangana was fantastic in TMWR. It's a difficult task to switch from one character to another and Kangana nailed it.

Twmr is one of my least liked movies of last year .. i find it terribly overrated.. kangana was great as datto but overall not NA worthy.. but seeing how twmr has also won best screenplay i dont even know what to say abt this years NA..

And this thread isn't created to bash or take any credit away from Kangana. Just didn't think it was that great. The film too was merely average in my honest opinion.

I think Kalki deserved the NA more then KR.
KRs performance was nowhere near as good as Kalki's.
The only reason Datto character is so hyped is because of her dialect.

Kangana did perform the role of Datto aptly but that wasnt brilliant. As Manu she was average. Definitely not worth national award but these days the awards work on recommendations.

Personally I hated TWMR did not understand why people were going crazy for this movie. Her performance was great but I felt Queen was better since she carried that film on her own in the right sense. I felt the girls from Masaan were better and I haven't seen Kalki yet so can't comment on that

Kangy deserved it and she won.. The end..
