Rocky Handsome recorded low figures on day one as it could not compete with Batman v Superman - Dawn Of Justice at multiplexes. The film had the same issue at paid previews as they were mainly at multiplexes and Rocky Handsome had poor paid previews. The film has collected 1.50 crore nett in paid previews and 5.50 crore nett on day one.

The initial it took in mass centres on Friday was fair and even first day collections in UP, Rajasthan and CPCI are okay but with no help in the evening at multiplexes the film could not push that first day collection higher. Basically the audience in most of India preferred the action of Batman v Superman.

There is a big match on Sunday which will hurt collections again. Also factoring in the match and going by reports it is possible that the first day of Rocky Handsome will be its best day.

Back from my second show!!!

What was that! I did expected surprises wrt an action film, but the command the film has in its genre have blown me away!

Yes it was heavy duty action, but I know only John can carry of such movie with so much ease. Story is darn predictable, And when I came to know its a remake, I kept that movie aside only to compare it later with this (since we always like the first version we watch, hehe)

I thought people wont receive such raw and ruthless action, but oh my everyone were so terribly glued to action scenes, the art direction I may call the action scenes, were top class!

The story, being once exposed to drug mafia, all other crimes come into the light,the organ selling racket murders, etc, but the aim remains same, to save kid from the mess.

I actually felt like cheering up then John sab ki dhulai kar raha tha, but the intensity is too high, plus it keeps us engaged throughout.

I was skeptical whether my husband will like John's movie but to my surprise he liked it, but kept praising the action and direction than John typical husband.

The climax showdown with knives, of which glimpse we saw in trailer, was the best and dangerous one I have ever seen myself, it was obvious he got so many injuries filming those action scenes, but all worth.

The kid was good, you dont keep yourself from feeling bad for her, when she scolds John for the one and only time.

Nishikant too as a director and actor did fab job. His view with which he makes movies is the USP.

If such movies have target audience, and appreciation for such kind of raw action and art, then definitely it will do well.👍🏼

Rocky Handsome Goes Down Badly On Day Two

Box Office India Trade Network

Rocky Handsome has gone down pretty badly on day two with collections of 4.25 crore nett. But this was expected as the evening crowd on friday did not come for the film and it was a holiday. The collection so far are around 11.25 crore nett in two days including paid previews. There is a big match to come on Sunday and it will impossible for the film to show the normal Sunday growth.

The collections on Saturday dropped in the mass centres where the opening was fair. The best areas CP Berar and UP are both down.

Batman v Superman - Dawn Of Justice continued to dominate the box office and will record weekend collections better than all Hindi releases barring Airlift. In Mysore the figures are better than Airlift also. .

he had such a nice lean bod in jism days

Yes even me too, he has a lean physique naturally. And he changes it as per requirement, like his last release welcome back he was lean na Kam na zyada even in Madras cafe

He has his own special kind of action movies, like for Akshay it's athletic type, sunny deal heavy duty, salman-ajay hawabazi action, the kind of action John performs is raw and intimidating type, and that really requires to bulk up,like for Force, shootout, now RH.

To built up and keep it maintained is huge task... And effort

Rocky Handsome:I hate action movies but i watched it coz my friends forced me.It's a nice movie,the story is so heart touching,i almost cried at the ending when Rocky was to shoot himself and suddenly the girl appears and when he hugs her before going to jail.Also the story of his wife was so emotional.The thing i didn't get is was the little girl HIS daughter? i think should have explained it as well,if she wasn't Rocky's daughter then whose's?Her mother was Ana but her father?Anyway,Jhon looked so hot shirtless but face wise he looks old now. 😆
