I think it means the aura they hav on screen, wen they r in the frame u can't take ur eyes off them, they hav a strong impact

Screen presence is all about how much you can emote through your eyes and facial expressions. THATS IT. It might come naturally to some while by hardwork to others but its all about how much your body language, your face and your eyes can speak when their are no dialogues.

i guess when particular actor comes on screen, his presence OR character he takes makes it him memorable and make impact on audience ...

Its what Mahima had in Pardes in spite of being average actor. She was difficult to ignore in any of her scene including one with SRK and Amrish Puri.

Screen presence is simply that...the presence of the actor you as an audience feel on the screen...Its not something a fan or a related person feels for a particular actor...But it is something felt by everyone regardless of being a fan etc...For example, Amitabh Bachchan...I was a small kid when I first saw his movie Chupke chupke on TV...Dharmendar was clearly the main hero of the movie, but my eyes were only for Amitabh...I couldn't wait for his next scene...And later from my dad I found out that he is the biggest superstar of India...

Another latest example is of Farad Khan...He is with two other youngsters on the screen but I couldn't take my eyes off of him...He clearly has a huge screen presence...You can hate him or love him but you cannot ignore him types...

What SRK, B Sr, Fawad, HR, Salman, Veer, Ash, Kareena, Kangana, PC, DP, Sridevi have too much of, and Shraddha Kapoor, Kat & ARK, have too little of.

Everyone else already said what i would have but i will add this.

If you think about it most actors with powerful screen presence can very much act, so no, it has nothing to do with covering their lack of acting skills.😆

In men I would say Amitabh Bachan , there are others too like Amir, Salman and Shah Rukh and Alshay Kumar but Amitabh commands the strongest screen presence .

I girls I like Kareena 's screen presence the most .
