Kapoor and Sons Friday (1st Day) Box Office Collection Update
This year has been started on a low note. So far there have been only two hits Airlift and Neerja while there are too many disappointments like Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Mastizaade, Wazir and Ghayal Once Again.
This Friday Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan starrer Kapoor and Sons will hit the screens. The film has released in around 1500 screens. The early trends suggest that it has taken a decent opening.
Box Office Opening Report:
The overall occupancy in the morning shows was around 20-25% in all over India. It should have been better as the screen count is not that huge. The opening was much better in multiplexes of big cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. But in small centers the start was slow. Nevertheless it will not be important if the film manages to do well in multiplexes. But for that it has to show growth in the evening as growth on tomorrow will be limited due to cricket match.
