"Ignorance" and "stupidity" are two different things, these people are simply ignorant or naive or both. I'm bothered because I know ignorant/naive people like this but they're not "stupid". I guess I'm also bothered because I feel that saying someone is stupid as an explanation for something is very dismissive of them when more often than that it's more complicated than that. I suppose that has more to do with my own personal issues than with you, but yes it did bother me which is why I couldn't help but comment. In any case, I'm sure we both mean well, so at this point I don't even know why I'm talking. 😆

^ The people that I was referencing, the ones on this forum & in reality, aren't a case of simple ignorance. They're vicious, malicious, pointed & cruel. They're the ones outing people for the sake of a cruel anecdote, a vicious reminder of what they view the person's failing, to make the other a joke, an amusement to gossip & nastily laugh about later on to other "friends." Simple ignorance is a mistake, an uninformed opinion that can be rectified. Wilful cruelty cannot & that truly is what makes things "complicated". While you're unaware why you reacted to me, I am fully aware why I reacted to you- These issues are close to my heart because I've seen a few friends & my own cousin who don't identity as gay, but have had a relationship with the member of the same sex. These people aren't misinformed, it's pointed maliciousness that makes them act this way; the need to shame & punish the other with what they view to be a 'dirty difference', even when it isn't, even when there is nothing to be ashamed of. So yes, I reacted, but yes, we both mean well. :)

No, not a beard. But they are also not in a romantic/sexual relationship. It seems to me that this affair was concocted to raise both their brand value and keep them in the news constantly.

I don't think they're dating, at least, I hope not. 😆 Saw an interview of SidFaLia and she can barely string one sentence together. I hope Sid's taste isn't that bad.

Anyway, even if Sid were gay, wouldn't matter. I don't think he is though.
