Siddharth lacks charishma. He is good looking and that is only good thing about him. Like in wrestling industry you will see loads of good looking guys with perfect abs, 6"2-6"4 heights, long hair, etc but the never even make it to wwe. They lack charishma which is extremely important in show business. Then you have some guys like Hogan, Warrior who knows no two shit about wrestling but are full of charisma and become top of the trade.

Totally disagree. John is a super limited actor.

Compared to him, Ranveer, Ranbir, Sushant, Aditya, Varun, Sid, and even Arjun, are all light years ahead.

He wasn't that bad in SOTY either. I don't know why everyone is so harsh on him.

Yup, Sid was endearing in HTP.

John was never endearing to me. So wooden.

Yes. He was really good in Water and New York. One of the better model turned actors to come out of BW. Not sure why they always underrate him.

John Abraham is not wooden. Definitely not more than Sidhart.

There are times he is so full of expression he is OTT.

Rocky Handsome his new film he doesn't look wooden at all.

I think John is decent - he isn't the greatest actor and he clearly struggles with expressions and dancing, but his body is one of the best amongst the actors and he is quite good in action movies as well as drama movies. I think he's probably better than the likes of the more 'undeserving' star sons i.e. Arjun Kapoor, Jacky Bhagnani, Girish etc, but definitely not as good as say Ranbir, Ranveer or Shahid.

That being said, I watched this interview of his with Rajeev Masand and was quite surprised to see that he is far more intelligent/educated than I thought he was! I looked up his education - he has a MBA and has worked in corporate jobs before modelling/acting, and since turning producer with Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, his producer/behind-the-camera personas have turned out to be much better than his acting career. He also seemed quite interested in the whole mentoring Varun and improving action movies in India as well, made me realise that one shouldn't judge the book by its cover.
