I actually wish they increase the nominees or decrease actually based on performance. This year there was some chatter among award show journalists as to how some supporting actresses actually belonged in main. Plus Oscar is not so pure, it is still based on what people can buy. Harvey Weinstein is notorious for that. Too many from Gwyneth's Oscar to JLaw are rumored to be his manipulations.

Yup...start throwing words like insecure and jealous out there when there's no merit in your argument! 😆 Name calling seems to be quite the in thing here when people really can't debate on facts . As for NA winning performance , don't know how many here are aware of Swades and Chak De! Those are movies where he wasn't just terrific , those are movies that had quite an impact on the society as well, all criteria that one looks for in a NA winning film or performance. You might not think they were NA worthy but plenty out there do.

As for your dear Akshay , I hope he wins it one day man! I have no issues with the guy getting a NA if the performance indeed deserves it. As for the accusations and excuses , well they aren't accusations or excuses considering the current atmosphere and how many have been awarded this time for their loyalty to the government! The same folks who were degrading these awards till a few years back were seen shouting from the rooftops about how prestigious they're.
