And no actually, I've seen Fawad's Khoobsurat AND Khuda Ke Liye and he was exceptional in both.

U kind of answered your own question.The Media overhypes everybody. Why hold that against the actor? Fawad is quietly doing his job. I like how he doesn't come across as desperate.He's motivated,hard working, and humble. I'm sure he dreams of becoming a well known star in India, but he's not behaving like an attention seeker .He wants his work to speak for itself. Only on india-forums when people like you make topics do we hear about Fawad :)

Ali Zafar has done one tere bin laden( out and out comedy), mere brother ki dulhan, another rom com and that not so memorable movie with ranveer and parineeti which was romance come action film. Tere bin laden script was surely diff & quirky but the role was anything but superlative. So what extraordinary versatitlty and experimenting skills he has shown , that too by sticking to YRF primarily. If fawad is said to be backed by Kjo and dharma, what the explanation for Ali zafar's long association with yrf and trying to gel with industry biggies to make his presence felt here?he tried every trick to get into hype zone by media but yet to reach it, so there must be some reason fir media too to notice fawad and refer him. Unlike many here including yiu I guess media people also bothered to watch his tv work to form opinions before writing about him. Ali zafar does not have that work profile either , so what makes him versatile actor? I am really eager to know. Morover he is a singer first and then an actor , great his acting abilities are being appreciated but unfortunately when his films were released, none of the people including peopke on this very firum gave him any impirtance unlike now. They were busy praising ranveer, parineeti or was watching imran katrina. So just to suit your logic to defend the topic for the motion, do not nit make ali zafar a versatile actor showing diversity in his roles. He himself may not believe it.

He is in Bollywood.

Its like KSG fans saying even though he is really bad in Bollywood he is great in his soap operas.

Fawad is still yet to live up to the hype in Bollywood.

Yeah, I'm calling it what it is: bullshit. Where is the proof? No it's not just because of Fawad, even if it was an actor I hated I would ask for proof if a rumor popped up against them. Where are any of these pictures or videos of Fawad kissing men or anything of that nature?
