Since a year articles about Neerja's making have come out did these colleagues contact anyone on the movie team to share their story? They're complaining now when the movie has released.

Movie is about Neerja. It will be her story. Certain liberties will be taken with the story. It is to be expected.

They could have chosen to share their own story on that flight, but instead they put down their colleague talked about her soul, how fictional it was and "real heroes" on that flight as though Neerja's ordeal was nothing.

This FB post shows people are only concerned about themselves. They could have mindfully shared their own stories too, but they didn't. Instead they put down a colleague who was selfless and lost her life that day.

I would have liked to know more about the heroes on that flight apart from Neerja.

Neerja wasn't shown to be a super woman or is given some 'Undeserved adulation' as this post mentions. The movie is a tribute to the brave young woman in the most beautiful way possible.

This incident happened 30 years ago and she was awarded by three different countries. Also, some of us knew about Neerja long before the Sonam Kapoor doing her biopic came into the news. Not sure why all the people are coming out of the woodworks to take credit now.

I dislike Sonam Kapoor to the hilt but I'm glad Neerja worked at the box office. At least a lot of people are aware of her now. The biopic was long overdue. It should have been made in the 90s itself by someone like Meera Nair. Anyway, better late than never.

It's sad to hear her say undeserving gratitude ... Neerja deserves all the adulation and accolades and awards for her bravery... Maybe all the crew members do dear an award... But besides bravery it was Neerja's presence of mind that zeroed the chances of the airplane taking off... She definitely deserves everything that is coming her way...
Now that the movie is doing well lots of people will come out to get their bitterness out or be heard...
