I just searched for Nupoor Abrol on facebook and there was no such result.

Is this fake? Wth!

Awards, accolades and the pic of Rama Bhanot receiving Ashoka Chakra from Giani Zail singh are all proofs of the reality.

This movie is about Neerja so may be the other crew members were not shown much in light but they were also shown in a positive light.

Also Neerja was the only one to have sacrificed her life among the crew members saving the kids.

One of the children, then aged 7, is now a captain for a major airline and has stated that Neerja Bhanot has been his inspiration and he owes every day of his life to her.

I dont completely disagree with her here..

just like Neerja there were many others ..crew and passengers who faced the ordeal throughout..and many of them would have been heroes someway..like I read n account of a paki-American who was a teenager then..about how she was shot and survived bcoz of n unknown gentleman whom she never met again..there would be many untold stories from that 17 hrs horror..

But Neerja made an impact..passengers acknowledge her presence of mind, compassion and bravery..awards speak a lot about her contribution..and she gave up her life when it was easy to escape..this does not take away anything from those who survived.

The only reason I can think of is what Neerja did is well documented and out in public domain..while other stories r just coming out

1) Oh wow.. so now they are competing for attention with a dead person??!! She gave her life saving three children, was heading the plane when the cockpit crew left was recognised by Govt. of India, and Pak... so you're saying these two govts. were wrong in honouring her? No one denies them also playing a role... but the fact is that one girl lost her life at the prime of her youth while Nupoor and Astrid are still alive enjoying themselves!!!!!!

2) I totally agree with her. When this incident happened , I doubted the same when I read the newspapers because there was no consistency. Just the other day a survivor of the tragedy said that Neerja was not sheilding any kids when she was killed. She 's being portrayed more heroic than she actually was.

Strange! There were documentaries already made on Neerja earlier. All the articles since the incident, passengers said the same thing. Neerja was the head purser, the one who opened the exit door and took the bullets. She was rewarded for her bravery.

If this person had any objection, why didn't she report in all these years?

Neerja movie is not a documentary... filmization to some extent is required to make it work.. just like mary kom...
